Bistro Rutherford

I’ve been coming to Rutherford’s for some time. Excellent food - great burgers and the chicken and ribs are fantastic.

I would give the restaurant five stars unfortunately I don’t have much good to say about one of the servers who doesn’t seem to care much for their job or the success of the restaurant. He is deliberately slow, unwelcoming and doesn’t seem to have much in the way of a personality. The other staff have been better but again - the service could be much better all around (it’s great when the owner is here - a great guy).

If Rutherfords built their image as a family friendly restaurant - which it is - I strongly believe they would do far better - the patio should be packed on any given day as some of the others are. I would also strongly suggest retraining certain servers or encourage them to move on. A bad server kills a business - the very thing that pays their wages.

Please up your game Rutherford’s - you have all the potential to be a fantastic restaurant.

The food is really good. I got the wings and they we’re excellent but the meals are overpriced. The patio is really cozy and gives a wonderful view of the river.

Awesome place. My fiancee and I had a wonderful time and our server Kyrllo was great. The Montreal style brisket and poutine was incredible. Highly recommend if you're in Wakefield/Chelsea

this place is WOW!! incredible food, service, and AWESOME menu!!! we got the platter with the chicken, ribs, pulled pork and fries and it is all so yummy! i was watching the food come out to other tables and it all looked so good, i cant wait to come back and try more of the menu!
