We finally had time to try Nikosi for Sunday brunch this weekend. Just have to say wow! I can’t wait to go back for lunch then dinner. This place is original and a gem. Best restaurant in the village.

Nikolai is situated on the main street where all the pubs and shops are in Wakefield, it offers a fantastic river view if sitting on the patio and has great drinks and food! I would highly suggest the duck leg poutine!

The food was great. Staff was kind and helpful but it took a long getting our food.
Owner did give us a free round of drinks for the wait.

Wapokunie owner and operator is a delight. We ordered a boar the bacon cheese burger. And my wife had duck grill cheese and both were amazing. The boar had no gamy taste. Fries are homemade as well. Very cozy.
