Le Hibou

Great beer, ambiance, and food. Loved the fall colours in Wakefield. The bread was amazing - I wonder if it came from the attached bakery? Definitely gourmet Quebecois bistro quality food at a reasonable, though not cheap, price. They did not have enough staff though.

We enjoyed our family meal at Le Hibou! We ordered the soup of the day, which was to die for, the nachos which was good but nothing to write home about and the fish taco which was very good. The service is friendly and fairy quick taking into consideration how busy they are. They have a little kids menu for the little ones.

Beautiful waterfront restaurant! Friendly and welcoming staff. The service is a bit slow, over priced but that's the standard in Wakefield waterfront area. The food quality varies, the Duck Gumbo is delicious and and nicely cooked and presented. Sushi Bowl & Seafood Tajine are both below average. The portion size generally is quite small.

The view was fantastic but the service was slow. Food was good.

I had the sushi bowl and liked how they prepared the salmon. Presentation was nice. My husband enjoy fish and chips, he especially liked that the fish wasn't oily.

I would definitely return for the view and hope the service is better next time.
