“I want to love it. We used to get this all the time living in Tennessee. Went here tonight and I felt like my hands were tied. The sweet lady who did the mix has some things that make it a little more difficult to complete orders. I asked for a waffle bowl - sold out. So I asked for a waffle Cone and they had that. Gave my order and she’s not able to do a true mix because of her limitations. Once “combined” I was given a cardboard bowl instead. I didn’t know what to say... and the card machines ask for tips and again didn’t know what to say... I feel like it was a lose lose situation and I wouldn’t feel that way had my order been correct and things mixed like you expect. I’m just torn.”

Our driver did a great job of getting our lunch delivered despite the fact there was a huge parade and surrounding streets were jammed. She was very helpful and offered to help with set up. “The food is typically fresh here. Everything is baked in house. The cost is higher as a result too. Not the most costly but not the least costly near UAB either. It is indoors so that's a benefit when weather isn't permitting outdoor strolling. I've liked everything I've tried. I miss the burrito bowls!”

“Gordo's has the absolute best authentic Mexican food in Birmingham! Everything on the taqueria menu is delicious. On the weekends they also serve up authentic Tacos Al Pastor sliced fresh off of the 'meat tornado'. The market has a huge selection of great Mexican products and fresh produce. The bakery has tons of delicious pastries. If I could pick one place to eat and eat until I exploded this would be the place! What a way to go!”

“I am a sandwich and wrap snob, and I almost never like it cold, but lunch box express is so fabulous that I've enjoyed every sandwich or wrap I've ever had cold or hot. Not only is it a small business owned by people that seem like the salt of the earth, each sandwich, no matter how large your order, tastes good every time. The employees are so friendly, and they are always so flexible. I would recommend this for any corporate lunch, picnic lunch, or better yet just pack it for a lake weekend. Better than any deli in all of Alabama.”

“I friend of my sons told us about the Continental Bakery. This is now the ONLY place we go to for BAGELS in town! There is zero comparison as to the quality of Bagels, Scones, Danishes, Biscotti, and cinnamon rolls. Even old fashioned rolls. This place is a treat and and a reward. Then I ended up getting an assortment of cup cakes, peanut butter, red velvet, lemon ❤ (yum) and my 2nd favorite,???? it has coconut and pecans in the icing, but can't remember the name of it right at this moment. “This place is awesome!! I can't say enough. It's a small little gem. Everything is nice and colorful and the young ladies are very pleasant. Now the food is so good. Try the marinated steak tacos you will not be disappointed. I also had the shrimp cerviche and my husband had the burrito. The burrito was huge bye the way! I have never eaten so much in one sitting. This place is also a bakery with some home made ice cream and all kinds of good sweets. I mean how much more do I have to say? Oh yes the mango fruit cup is great. “I just wanted to leave some positive feedback for the Trussville, Al store. I received a delivery order today and it came so quickly , I mean like within 10-15 minutes of completing my order!!
