We asked the gentleman behind the counter if it would be an inconvenience for us to order so close to closing. He was very polite and helpful and graciously took our order for our sandwiches. We left after he made it so he didn’t have to wait on us to eat. He was very kind. We appreciated his service.”

“Honestly, this place is better than I expected. The tacos are simple, surprisingly filling for the sizes that they are. The ingredients are quality, and the queso is absolutely amazing! I get the #5 taco, which includes black beans, eggs, potatoes, & avocado & then I add either carnitas , chorizo, or brisket. The salsa bar is cool, and I love the green salsa and the creamy one as well. The pastries are absolutely AMAZING, especially the berry Danish & the kouign aman (I hope I spelled that right). With the berry Danish, they don't tell you specifically what kind of berry Danish it is, especially if you order it online, & for me, I've come to find I sort of like that surprise! Sometimes it's strawberry, sometimes it's blackberry jam! And today, it was a cranberry one, believe! All variations are great! They have amazing coffee choices as well, although the size is way too small to be a $9 coffee. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is super cute and reminds me of Texas....I highly recommend checking this place out!”

“While in Birmingham this week, I’ve had the chance to eat here twice and I must say that both times were amazing! The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly! They took the time to explain the different types of salads and helped me decide what I wanted. It definitely won’t be my last time visiting. This is an extra perk for me while visiting Birmingham. “This was my second time having Post Office Pies pizza, my first time eating in (the Hoover location is the only one allowing dining in). My family and I was not disappointed. They use all fresh ingredients which was perfectly cook so the food taste way better eating in (fresh out the oven) compared to take out. On our visit, we had a cheese pizza for the children and the white pizza for my wife and I. The children also had the Mac & Cheese and I must say, sorry Chick-Fil-La, they have you beat. Our waiter was Harrison and he was terrific, ask for him. The bathrooms were not only clean, they are beautiful, for a public bathroom of course.”

“We had the best time at Porch this weekend. We sat outside on the “porch” and it was a lovely evening. They have something for everyone, but our favorite was the Oku with a fried egg and bacon lardons. We enjoyed a couple cocktails to start, the spicy pear margarita was delicious with a kick! Then moved on to some Ireland farm shishito peppers and squash carpaccio! Rounded out our entrees with the Truffle Farro Bowl and the Catfish Sandwich. We truly loved it all and can’t wait to go back to try more! We are so excited to have Porch in the neighborhood!”

“I am not a bourbon person, but I am one now after visiting Watkins Branch! Not only do they have a great selection of bourbon brands, but they also can make you any non-bourbon drink as well. My fiancé and I tried two different items from the menu and both were great. The Farm Burger might be one of the best burgers in Birmingham- which is saying something! I will definitely be back. The staff is so friendly and bartenders are amazing! Thanks guys!!!”

“Lunchtime on Friday turned out to be extremely busy and the wait was longer than expected, but the food! Salmon croquettes, meat loaf, butter beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potato’s, potato salad - we tried most everything (sadly they were out of the squash casserole) and it was all delicious! And the banana pudding with HOMEMADE vanilla wafers!!! The wait staff was awesome as well. Can’t wait to try dinner!”
