“My friend and I have been here twice now and this is what I have learned: 1. The food is great! Anything authentic from the menu always tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and leaves you happily full. 2. The drinks are also good. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed their regular margaritas, especially during happy hour when they are 50% off. 3. The service is horrible! No matter if they are busy or not, they are slow to take orders. They are not attentive when taking orders (my friend and I have both not been served water even when we asked). No one checks on your table throughout the meal, so if you run out of water, chips, or salsa, good luck flagging someone down to get more. Lastly, the kitchen must not talk to the wait staff. We've repeatedly been served wrong dishes or had parts of our dishes forgotten. At first I thought it was the place being busy the first time, but after our second visit, it is clear no one here is urgent nor pays that much attention to their customers.”

“I ate here for lunch on 1/24/2024. RG’s hasn’t been open long so I was excited hop in for a solo lunch. I left full and satisfied and eager to return. I had the guacamole dip appetizer and a Mountain Dew to drink. Their salsa has great flavor and I really appreciated the fresh pico with the guacamole. I was told about the specials and just went basic with the steak fajitas. They were delicious. Heavy on onions but that’s perfectly fine with me. I look forward to going back and exploring more of the menu.”

“The food is great just like the downtown location. It has not been open long, but get ready to wait. We arrived at 11:09 AM for lunch at it was a 20 minute wait. There were a lot of empty tables, so I take it the wait was due to a lack of staff. The servers are still learning and the kitchen crew is slow as our total time at our table was barely under one hour, so start to finish lunch took just under one hour and 20 minutes. The atmosphere needs more character. For a restaurant in a neighborhood location they missed the mark by not making it a family friendly restaurant. The majority of the seating is for the two bars, or outside. The main dining area is minimal by comparison to the space allocated to the bars. There is not a kid’s menu, but if you ask, they have a grilled cheese or they will make the chicken tenders without the beer batter. Huge miss. I gave it 3 stars because the food is great, but they have a lot to fix, and I really hope they realize they are in a neighborhood area with lots of families that would like to dine there. I don’t know how they add more seating that is not in the bar, but they can at least add a kid’s menu. I hope they figure it out soon.”

“Celebrating a family birthday party was fun and tasty at El Sabor. That’s the best Taco Salad (flavor) since dozens that I had at the Mike Monroney aeronautical center in air traffic control school. And the service was equally as good. Authentic cuisine and ambience. Then, the three cooks came out and serenaded the 70 year young for her birthday🎂🎉 What a Day!!!🎈”

“Store is great by they aren't open by the times they post. I work nights and frequently stop by between 7-7:30am and they are rarely open. On Saturdays they don't seem to open until after 6:30am. Already gone by 3 times this morning when they claim to be open at 5am”

“A great place to eat! Whether you’re traveling or just looking for some place to eat. We’ve ordered the catfish plate (blackened and fried), Mahi Mahi, Patty melt and meatloaf. They all came out great! Enough portion for a person to eat and enjoy. Great attitude from staffs, especially Kimberly, our waitress. She’s so kind! Especially being a new year day. Prices were fair and affordable. The bakery side was nice and plenty of selections to choose. But maybe putting names and prices on the bakeries will help customers to identify them better. Nice atmosphere and vibes as well. Clean bathrooms. Also a good size Dog Park on site. That’s a plus for travelers like us with a dog. Overall great experience and will be back again for sure!”
