The food tastes really Mexican and is not just a knock-off, staff is very friendly and competent, the ordered dishes where served in less than 10 minutes and the taste was awesome! They complimentary serve nachos with a nice salsa. The menu is reasonable priced. The parking-lot in front of the house is able to hold a sufficient number of vehicles. Recommended location!”

“Great food and the hostesses/owners are nice. In the past I've had shoddy service but they have since corrected. My hope is that this business continues to do well and really developes a niche in the community. They have wonderful burgers and fries. The wings are great as well. Fried chicken salad with ranch is superb. Quality of food is there no problem now we just want consistency. One major thing that would be a plus is that the workers wouldn't smoke with the back door open..yucky that's why only 4 stars.”

“Had meatloaf, chicken dressing, mashed potatoes (both with gravy. Everything is better with gravy!) & large soda. Wife had wings, mashed potatoes ( no gravy. Her loss) cornbread & large sweet tea. Food was good. Portions were good (generous on the meatloaf!) Place was neat & clean. Men's restroom needed a little work, but we came in about 5PM so they might not have had a chance to work on it (restrooms were in the gas station part)”

“I would recommend this location and the people who work here are very friendly and welcoming to the customers. Sept2019 I saw this Popeye sign on the highway and I decided to come in and get some chicken. I didn't really know what I wanted to eat and I know I didn't want a hamburger. This area had a lot parking lot and plenty of handicapped parking. I entered through one of the double doors on the front and I was greeted by one of the ladies behind the counter. It is always nice to see a friendly face and be greeted like your returning friend when you go to some of these roadside places after traveling all day. I felt like she knew me and I felt more comfortable ordering my food. The lady brightened up my day just by being friendly and the only person I had talked to for over 4 hours. My food took a while to get it finished but she delivered the box with a smile and apologized for taking the extra time to get it prepared. I think workers forget that they are first contact for their business and their business thrives when the workers are happy and friendly and greet travelers like me with a smile. I made a permanent bookmark to stop here at this location on my next trip through the area.”

“We went to Tannehill State Park and decided to stop in for a late dinner. We'd stopped in before after visiting the park but it was a couple of years ago. We all got one of their choices of steak with baked potato and salad bar. The steaks were great! They beat the last Outback Steakhouse we ate at in Hoover, hands down! And the service was terrific..again, a thousand times better than what we'd gotten at Outback! The restrooms were clean and well attended as well. You can really tell the manager runs a great place! So forget your predisposed thinking of a typical truck stop! This was a great restaurant experience!”

“I know they are newly established so I will change my review after a time if it has improved. However, they are incredibly slow, like if there are 2 cars in line i leave. They also have repeated been out of alot products (again may be because they havent figured out their inventory amounts yet) the food has always been good when I have gotten it. Also the have made very few mistakes so maybe a toss up between a long time and right order and mcdonalds fast but often wrong.”
