The view of Anchorage is unmatched. The oysters - perfect. The king crab legs - perfect. Valentine's was in the air, the staff were dressed accordingly. Always courteous and attentive, the Crow's Nest personnel are a pleasure to meet, from the bartender to the greeter... courtesy and professional "to a T". We'll done and thanks for a fantastic Valentine Eve.
This is a hard review for me, so let me start by saying my 3* are for the poor quality of the service and the attitude of the staff, NOT for the quality of the food! We enjoyed our dishes, but we had to try REALLY hard to not let our entire dinning experience be ruined by unfriendly staff - not even pretending to try to be helpful! Our waitress even gave my husband a hard time for having an onion allergy: like it was his choice having to live with it! When choosing dessert, I didn’t understand why she was trying to convince us not to try the banana flambé, till I realized that she had to prepare it herself in front of our table. As a result, she rushed and didn’t wait for the banana to soak properly. One thing for sure, next time we’re visiting Anchorage, we will not stop by again.
Amazing. I've lived in Alaska my whole life and heard nothing but good things about this place. It definitely lived up to the hype. The food was phenomenal, the cocktails were delicious, and the service was incredible. If you want fine dining in Anchorage Alaska, you've gotta check this place out.
The bananas foster is insane, and they make it tableside
Two thumbs up
10/10
Definitely coming back
Photo is of the rib eye. Which was cooked perfectly.
Lives up to is reputation as one of the best places in Anchorage. Meal was divine, view fantastic, and dessert solid. One annoyance was service felt a bit scattered, rushed, and the dress code wasn't really well enforced. That took us out if the experience a bit
Amazing dinner last night 5 floors above our room! The view is gorgeous ???????? The staff is amazing and friendly. Boy oh boy it was the BEST food I have EVER had at a restaurant. The pork chop literally melted in my mouth and the brussel sprout leaves that came with was to die for! Highly highly recommend this place for special occasions!!!
