Wonderful restaurant. This place immediately transports you to Japan. It looks closed but it isn’t! Go to the door to the left of 6th and it’s open. Every little detail is perfect. The rice is seasoned, the sauces are on point. Definitely try the gyoza. I will be coming back here.

This place is a gem! Very kind owner/cook, cozy atmosphere and great udon!
My only complaint is that I didn't try it sooner.

I really enjoyed this place! It's the most authentic Japanese experience I've had! We were served by an older gentleman who was very kind. The menu on the wall was super cool! The food was delicious and decidedly loyal to the flavors of Japan. It was a little on the spendy side, but I got more food than I could eat!

Adorable family owned shop. Owner of the shop is also the only chef (food takes longer than expected to come to your table for this reason, but the wait is worth it). Surprisingly high quality japanese food that I didn't expect to find in AK!

Old Japanese couple run small Japanese restaurant. Food is good and keep traditional. The lady very nice and talk so much with us. For the price, I feel a little bit higher, but acceptable. I think it is no easy to find a traditional Japanese restaurant in downtown Anchorage.
