El Green-Go's

tried this for the first time. Had the pork burrito with roasted poblano sauce. Great smoky flavor overall. Pork pieces were sometimes greasy and sometimes crispy so a good mix with nice textures. The corn was sweet and crisp. To be honest the mix between meat and veggies was nice. My only complaint is the amount of rice. Which is normal for a burrito this big- theres always a ton of rice. Luckily it tasted good too. Get the sauce because I feel without it, it would taste a little dry. Would be nice if they kept the portion size the same while getting rid of some of the rice. The price should still make it profitable in my opinion.

First dine here was real good and pretty quick quick. $9.00 for 2 pork street tacos, side of chips, nice salsa, and a soda. They have a nice variety of hot sauces. A bit steep on price for "street tacos," but definitely tasted like 9 bucks, I'll give it that. Will make another trip there for sure.

We came here after not being able to get in to Snow City cafe and so glad we did! Excellent breakfast organic, they use local silver salmon. I had the salmon tacos breakfast and my boyfriend had the salmon quesadillas so delicious and fresh I highly recommend

This food truck like outdoor restaurant serves Mexican inspired dishes with smoked meats. The pork tacos I had were some the best ever. We also had chilaquiles with smoked pork. The portion was huge, loaded with delicious meat and veggies Highly recommend.

We ran into this place by accident, the best way! A lot of guide books etc will tell you to have breakfast at an institution across the street. But you'll get there and quickly realize it's a 2 hour wait and you should have made reservations.

Not to worry! Green-Gos to the rescue! What looks like an unassuming food truck and a couple of picnic tables is actually seriously great breakfast tacos. Good produce is scarce in AK, but El Green Gos makes it work with amazing local sourced, smoked meats. The smoked pork will impress, and I'm from bbq country. The beans, the poblano sauce, all the details are legit.

Add to that the couple running it are the friendliest folks you'll meet in a city that can have thin patience in the height of tourist invasion. They'll make your day and your breakfast. Next time you eat here, it'll be your first stop.
