“First time trying Ethiopian cuisine and my visit was a very pleasant experience. The woman that served me (and also cooked the food) was very welcoming and explained many of the dishes to me to cater to my preferences. I ordered the mixed platter that included chicken, lamb, and beef, along with the non-alcoholic honeywine. The food was delicious. All the meats were tender and well seasoned. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to try this food as well.”

“This location is busy. Like, busy that 'we're outta certain options for the night' 1.5 hours before the drive-through closes. Kudos for this place being consistently clean, even with a high number of customers turned over. Friendly staff, never had a bad experience. If using a bathroom, masked sure to ask the check-out staff to open it.”

“Wonderful service, wonderful food, great portions: got three fresh rolls AKA summer rolls and a really good peanut dipping sauce as well as gigantic Thai teas, the biggest I've ever been served!!💋”

“Great store, great staff. One of the few stores in Phoenix that is safe enough that they don't have to lock the restrooms or put red sharp object disposable boxes for hypodermic needles in the restrooms. They also don't wait until sunrise to open the lobby and close at sunset due to crime.”

“For all you hardcore Asian food fans,I am in no way an expert. But I'll give you my limited ranking scale. #1. George Yang's,#2 Panda Express and I would rate #3 Komodo.....today we tried the pork fried rice and the beef and broccoli lunch special. Starting with the pork fried rice: huge portion, probably the largest portion I've ever had. Pretty good taste,a few small salty clumps. This is the first time I've had the pork sliced in strips versus the usual small square chunks, Komodos version did have quite a few fat chunks attached to the meat. The beef and broccoli had a different flavor then what we are used to but was still pretty good. The winner was the egg roll which was really crispy and great flavor. As for the restaurant, this spot hasn't been updated since the streets of new York owned this spot over ten years ago. Just a few basic tables and chairs and a checkout counter. During our visit it looked like there was possibly 1 person running front of house and 1 person in the kitchen. Server was attentive. Prices are about the same as George Yang's about 13-15 per person ( for that reason I would rather have Yang's). Overall score for Komodo 3.5.”

“Awesome shakes and Tea bombs. I always thought protein shakes had to taste like protein. But not at Impact. They are addicting. Thanks Impact for changing my mind.”

“Had the tonkatsu ramen and karaage. I added an egg, extra pork, and spicy sauce to the ramen. Everything was delicious. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the egg. The karaage was probably some of the best I’ve had, super crispy, juicy, and the sweet sauce it had was amazing. Will definitely come back often!”

“The experience started with the service, and our waiter was engaging , personable, and attentive to our needs. The food was good! We went in with zero expectations, as the visit was completely random. My burger, the Marrakesh, was done nicely and cooked to order. I ordered a side salad, which had amazing greens and a light dressing that was a compliment to the salad, not a drowning. We sat outside, on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't crowded, and the atmosphere was nice.”

“Great spot with great meals. Their food is great and interesting. They also have a cute shop and lots of fun drink options! In the same building, there is also an art exhibit right now and we were able to walk through before our food came out! They have indoor and outdoor seating and huge windows that side open for good weather. The employees are cool and kind”

“Gracie’s is one of my favorite spots downtown. The drinks are great and the snacks are even better. I suggest the buffalo chicken sandwich and the onion rings! The inside has a very cool retro/ dive bar vibe, great for date night. The patio is the perfect place to grab a drink with a group of friends. We love it that Gracie’s is always open, even on nights when most bars are closed. We like coming here for a drink on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.”

“Good food in a nice setting. We ate inside, but the outdoor area also looked nice. The Tepary Bean Hummus & Frybread was a lot like pita with hummus. We also enjoyed a bowl of posole.”

“It has great decor and a nice atmosphere. They seem to be quite the busy little restaurant. There was an hour wait if we wanted to sit inside. The other inside seating is booked out for a whole month. You can only reserve a table from one place online but unfortunately I haven't forgotten what that is. We were able to be seated outside and the wait was minor. The staff was not to on their toes and even though my friend ordered a large cup of ice water, we had to not only wait while, then remind them about it, but they kept just filling up the tiny glass they initially give you. I'll chalk the slowness up to they were busy. The food was fantastic though! Sauces were on point. So freaking goood.”

“We enjoyed our dinner on the patio here! The service is very friendly. The menu is small but everything we tried was really good! Definitely have to try the cauliflower, it was yummy!”

“Goji Berry Cafe is such a cute little spot with very friendly and helpful service. The menu offers light and refreshing options that are perfect for a lunch. They also have baked goods at the front. I had the pesto panini with potato chips, omg y’all. The sandwich was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside, the flavor was immaculate, and the chips may have been the best chips I’ve ever had. They were like a cross between a french fry and a kettle cooked chip. My meal was filling, but not heavy. I could not recommend this place more. It’s a must try.”

“The atmosphere simmers with upbeat sounds and constant buzz. Decor is vintage repurchased with LCDs. Pizza rocks great quality and the drink s are better than average. Trivia night on Thursday eve is a fantastic voyage on Luana's magic mystery bus.”

“This is seriously a gem on Roosevelt! I have almost tried everything on the menu and I love it all. My husband swears by the Mic Drop! It’s a meat packed ramen that is not for the weak appetite. I love the appetizers ( I am a appetizer person) the fried tofu in sweet Chile sauce is the best tofu in town hands down!!! The pork belly Bao and the mushroom Bao I have to have every time we go. The calamari is light and tastes amazing and the sweet with it is nice! The wings are phenomenal, I have not had anything bad there. The drinks are soooo good and the old fashioned with ginger is not a miss. Go there, eat, laugh, enjoy and support a wonderful small business with huge flavor!”

“Hotdogs were really delicious. They had different types of cheese and bacon on them and we ate everything on that plate! The nice couple who owns it were very kind and we got our food fast and fresh. Will go again. Thank you.”

“I had the pleasure of hosting my sister in laws baby shower at The Teapot and it was amazing. Jonathan was so helpful throughout the process and answered all my questions (probably twice! Haha) The space is beautiful, well kept and had everything we needed. We opted to decorate and cater ourselves, so we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to use the drink cart for our own drinks and the tables inside for the food had table clothes and flowers. There is a kids play area behind the green wall that the kids absolutely loved! The entire yard is fully fenced so it is safe to have kiddos run free. I definitely recommend!”
