“A great little family-owned spot to visit while you’re in town. You’ll love the friendly service and the home-style cooking. I ordered the veggie omelet - packed with the right amount of veggies and cheese, delicious! Their biscuits and gravy are also mouth watering. They even had a case full of yummy chocolate covered treats. We took some chocolate covered strawberries and marshmallows to-go, which were a HUGE hit with the kiddos (and adults). This place is far from any major city. However I wish they had some Navajo options. We just had our dinners here and we went somewhere else for lunch. Breakfast is simple but serves the purpose.”

“BLOWN AWAY! Was not expecting to happen upon this detailed tribute & micro museum honoring the Navajo Code Talkers from WWII. What a find. If you are in the area, passing through or a local, please stop in, grab breakfast or lunch and take in this wonderful exhibit that is loaded with many many artifacts. This location is well-staffed with friendly cheerful employees and the food was perfect. Hats off to the owners for honoring our country's Native Americans who provided an invaluable service at our country's time of need.”

“2nd Review Lions Den has always been my go to for drinks & food as a local the food is the same quality & taste every time even though limited menu as its mostly fried or grilled on the flattop I personally think the wine burger is the best burger I've had especially with a few additional toppings with a few to choose from or the specialty burgers on the menu each one is fantastic & the Pastrami Sandwich is my Wife's favorite pastrami she's had. The drinks are poured to my liking & are consistent while other bars locally pour shorter after each drink the Den's drinks are always on point. The staff typically keeps up regardless of occupancy & in the summers they get quite a few golfers & summer residents that frequent the bar & usually have good stories of how they decided to make the White Mountains their decided area to reside in for the summer months & also hearing about how their family history was a reason they decided to move back to the White Mountains which I prefer to the usual bar topics. The Den is definitely a great hometown bar & with the additions to the patio areas & the lower outside sitting area there's room to have conversation with a group without having bad background noise definitely an awesome hometown bar 1st Review This is a bar with great memories and great staff as I was doing my apprenticeship in my trade the owner of the company I apprenticeship through made the den the lunch spot so we definitely had quite a few lunches & an occasional dinner & always had superb service you hear about bars where everyone knows your name this is 1 of those bars definitely 5 stars”

“My 7 year old went on a field trip, earlier in the week, to the Pasta House and would not stop talking about how delicious bread she had. So two nights later we went to dinner and found out that she was absolutely correct. Not only the bread but our entire dinner experience was absolutely perfect. Our drinks were always full, our bread basket never empty and the staff was very friendly. My specialty dinner came with a side of spaghetti that brought it all together. We are a family of three that ended with a bill of less than $50 and were able to take a basket of bread home to enjoy. Thank you Pasta House!”
