“I only order breakfast burritos, but I love them from this place. Good proportions, the meat is never dry and they're not overwhelmingly greasy like at some other places. The red salsa got a bit hotter recently, too. I'm all about that. Drive through is fast as I would expect for someone having to make the size of burrito you get, so no complaints there. The staff is always friendly. I make sure to return once a week even though I moved across town.”

“My husband loves this place, somewhat because it's his name but he loves the Big Star. I am a fan of the Western Bacon. Lately the Western Bacon had been dry and I have to ask for extra sauce to get it like it originally was. love that they can put the onion rings on the side since my hubby will eat them because I don't. I am curious about their plant based burger... plan on trying it next time. They staff is friendly, helpful and they typically don't need up unless we order their cake, they always want to give us shakes..one time my husband had to request it 4 times because they refused to listen to him even at the order window. That day the meet helping him got upset with him and have him attitude because she kept doing it won't and was blaming him for it, not good.”

“I went to pick up a couple of pizzas and the guy ahead of me picked up my two when ordered one - whatever. When it was all sorted and they realized their mistake they told me it would be a few more minutes but they would remake my pizzas. I was upset and let them know they would have to better than just bringing it to my car. I tried not to be rude, but they could tell I was upset. The manager said she would refund my card which I misunderstood at first and retorted that I came for pizza and didn't want to leave without one. She then explained while still apologizing that she meant she would refund the cost back to the original card while still making the pizza. I had to have my wife call because she used her card and I was picking it up, so the manager returned to making the pizza while I let my wife know she had to call and explained why. End of the story, I received the pizzas I ordered, a bit late but for free. Before I finish, I want to apologize to the manager and staff if I came across rude. I understand how hard you work and don't want to add to your troubles.”

“Details are important. Missing some key things but has all the potential. I felt like going back to the kitchen and begging them to change so they could be successful. The salsa was watery but you can tell it would have been delicious if it had the proper texture. The meat was tender but didnt have enough salt, and some parts of the dish were clearly microwaved (hot plate means microwaved!). The atmosphere, furniture and decor were all a win in my book. The service was above average. One big pitfall was the taste of the water. Seemed like their ice machine has freezer burn or something, because it flavored every drink with some off, unpleasant taste. The server did not seem surprised about this, so my guess is it is brought up often. Prices are reasonable, the place is clean and inviting but people are likely not coming back because of the details. I honestly feel like a few small changes could make this place "the" place to go for Mexican food and drinks in Rita Ranch. Please use the feedback you get here because a lot of people are saying the same things.”

“Swung by on my way back from a job interview. Very crowded by what i imagine are employees from the nearby companies. They advertise their number on a sign so people can call in their order ahead of time. Despite this they seem to get food out fairly quick. The food is of decent quality, but even their signature items arent prepared wholly with fresh ingredients (canned mushrooms for example). I'll have to try their other items but this may be a hit or miss menu, with slightly higher than average price points across the board.”

“Stopped by at 11 AM on a Saturday morning and picked up a pepperoni pizza and an order of crazy bread. Pizza was overcooked to the point of being inedible. Crazy bread was undercooked and very doughy. Tried calling the store to ask for a refund and phone just rang and rang with no answer. Oh and of course they didn't give a receipt.... I contacted Corporate through an online web form and received a phone call within 5 minutes (no kidding!). The District / Regional Manager offered to make it right by refunding the cost and giving replacements at no cost too, which was generous. I didn't make it back until a week later, and when I explained what had happened, the cashier offered me a new pizza and crazy bread as a replacement and apologized for the negative experience. He explained that someone had called in sick unexpectedly, and they had quality issues due to being short staffed that morning. I appreciated the honesty and the new pizza and crazy bread were perfectly cooked, so overall I consider it a neutral experience.”

“I really wanted wings, but refused to get them from the pizza place. I looked on doordash and this place came up. So I took a chance. Best decision all week. The wings are big, crispy and well cooked. The wings on fire sauce.... my blood pressure went up... In a good way. The lemon pepper, best ever. This place is fire (no pun intended). I cannot wait to try all sauces. I'm so happy this place is in my neighborhood.”
