Food is very good but not very fancy. Nice people. At about 1/2 lb Hamburger for $12 or $20 a plate for real beef isn't bad. Sawdust on the floor and wood smoke in the air; the open flame grill is in the restaurant. We will be back. 2021 update Things change …. Eat somewhere else”

“Our family stopped here for lunch on our way to Prescott. The chicken Verde sandwich was awesome with the chicken being perfectly cooked! 💕 Our son and his fiance both had burgers and theirs was cooked to perfection as well. We even got to talk with the chef to pass on our compliments! No chef has ever come out to talk to me! I felt so special! The Creekside Lodge is beautiful even in the winter. It was a wonderful beginning for our 28th anniversary day 😀 3/13/22 Update Had the baked chicken special with real mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, corn, gravy and a dinner roll. The chef came out to talk to us. What an awesome guy! I love stopping by on our way to Prescott.”

Customized our dining experience and made it so enjoyable. We just moved to the area and we will be back frequently as regulars! The food is phenomenal. The service is impeccable. “Loved the food! The 4 of us got 4 different hamburgers and all thought they were at the level of "best" we ever had. Seasoned fries were good too. We all drank water so nothing to tell on the drinks. It is a bar and grill with limited indoor seating (and a pool table) that was to noisy for us old folks, so we ate outside and enjoyed the great view.”

“Stopped in Crown King on the way to Prescott via the Senators Highway. We've been to CK before but this time decided to try the Mill and we were not disappointed! The owners were very friendly and the building itself is a step back in time. The patio views are nice, so we decided to sit outside. I had the green Chile burger and she got the daily hand breaded chicken strips, both delicious! And the deep fried corn on the cob was different and awesome as well. This will probably be our spot now when we're in CK.”

“Shared the Reuben and the burger with my husband. The Reuben is amazing, and the reason we went there. But we tried the burger on the recommendation of our sever. The burger is really the best burger on the face of this planet. I asked my husband if he had read the menu description of the burger, and did he know what was on it. He said he had not read the description but clearly the toppings were “heaven”. The bun was a soft, delicious bun. Too bad we live in Oregon, or we would be back ever day. Lastly, the turtle cheesecake was also delicious.”

“Actually went to the gas station in the same building as Arby's. Typical country convenience store. Did like the small Baskin Robbins outlet inside. I don't recommend getting a cone to go, get a cup instead. In the AZ heat more will melt on you and your car than you can eat if you use a cone. The bathrooms weren't clean so maintenance is an issue, and you pay a higher price at the register for the convenience.”

“Breakfast here is always a treat. This past weekend I brought my family here while on our way north from Phoenix. I knew my daughters wouldn't be able to resist the homemade toast with homemade apple butter. This is a real treat, and I always order a side of toast and apple butter. Bridgette and Lenny are so friendly. The only time you are a stranger is the first time you come to visit; after that you are a part of the family. If there is not an empty table, then pick an empty seat at a table where there are other people and introduce yourself. If you need more coffee, just give the pig on the table a squeeze, and Bridgette will bring you more coffee. This is just the classic type of Arizona hospitality for which the West was won!”

“We heard from a few friends how good Chilleen's event was so when we had the opportunity to drive through Black canyon City returned off and stopped in for a bite to eat. The food was excellent! The waitress was friendly! As we were leaving we asked if we could see the banquet area of the restaurant and it was beautiful. We decided to ask about wedding information and they gave us a VIP experience we even or offered a sample of their food they serve during the wedding. It gave us a whole new world of possibilities! Even though it wasn't his job, I want to thank Jeff for giving us the information we needed. He did a fabulous job! We will definitely be back!”
