“Honestly loved it here when I was a kid but it doesn't taste as good as I remember. The root beer is still delicious at least. The shrimp is a better option. The reason why I'm leaving a 3 star review was because how long it took for our food to arrive. They had 10+ employees and most of them were standing around. Took them between 20 and 30 minutes today for two meals. There was only a couple of people in the lobby at that time as well. So not sure what went on. I will definitely try them out again in the future still.”

Not fancy pizza, better than chain pizza, hit the spot and breakfast leftovers were good, too, kimd of pizza. “I'm going to start with food first it is amazing. This was our second time and food is just as great. They also always have a great special. Wine list is great features local wine which is nice touch. But what sets this place apart is there true caring hospitality. We did bring our young child and my wife went to nurse her and the manager offered her a secluded area and made sure it was private for her. While she was away from table our food did arrive. And the manager came over and took her food back and kept it warm for her until she was ready. The thoughtfulness and care was second to none. To all that works at Grapes keep up the amazing care for customers. Made customers for life out of us. Well worth the 2 hour drive!!”

On the pricey side, but it is 'fine dining' This is an old hospital, not insane asylum, built in 1927 and only used a few years. Restaurant is connected to the Jerome Grand Hotel, although they no longer give tours to protect guests privacy. Cool place in any event.”
