Chuckwagon

Address: 151 N Main St, Big Pine, CA 93513, USA

Restaurant Meal takeaway

“The great outdoor service nestled unexpectedly in the high Sierras offers some magical secret Chef food ("Chef Keith" I think...) that will blow your mind! Try the breakfast sandwich AND / or the sourdough waffle in the morning and chase it down with the chicken wings at lunch! (Grab a "395" beverage from Mammoth at High Country Market to compliment any meal.)”

Owens Valley Distilling Company

Address: 237 E South St Unit E, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Owens Valley Distillery is so great! I am a Bishop local and come here quite frequently. I love their cosmopolitan and vodka cranberry! Occasionally they have a local chef come out and serve Indian food or Vietnamese food, which is great too! I had come in a few days ago and opened a tab. There was another group and one lady had also opened a tab and we had the same name. I was mistakenly charged for her order. When I realized what happened and called the next day, Brittany was super nice and took off the charges from the other bill. Really great service!”

Bishop Burger Barn

Address: 2675 W Line St, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

“Everyone had a tasty burger. Could be called Backyard Burgers because everything looked and tasted like all the burgers we've fixed in our own backyard on our own grill. Only downside was no indoor seating (although the outside seating was great) but it was a pretty hot day. Lots of shade though, so we were fine.”

Delight's Hot Springs Resort

Address: 368 Tecopa Hot Springs Rd, Tecopa, CA 92389, USA

Restaurant

“Stayed here 1 night between Joshua Tree and Death Valley. It was indeed delightful! Loved the private springs (especially after 2 days hiking/camping), had a great view of stars, and enjoyed delicious brisket and friendly conversation with the owner of the restaurant next door. Room was no frills (as advertised) but I was pleased to find we did have some cell service (unexpected). The location was ideal for us to do a day hike in the less-traveled southern part of the park. Overall great stay!”

Sierra Mountaineering International, Inc

Address: 236 N Main St, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

Restaurant

“This was my 1st climb with Sierra Mountaineering. I cannot say enough good about my experience!! From the start of inquiring about a winter climb of Mt Whitney I tend to ask lots of questions, it was an Awesome experience. Kurt and the others I delt with were over the top helpful!! Advised me on what would be the best airport to fly into and where to stay in Lone Pine before and after the climb. I've done some climbing so I have my gear but they would've had that for me too. The guide we had , Hannah, was incredible!! Very hard worker , the best personality to keep us entertained and motivated and safe sand cooked us pretty spectacular meals at night. I would , Without a doubt highly recommend climbing with Sierra Mountaineering!!! I plan to round up a couple friends and go back again!! Thank you Kurt and Sierra Mountaineering!!🗻🇺🇸”

Wanaaha Casino

Night club Restaurant

“This place has grown immensely over the last 15 years! It's remarkable how clean and fresh the new interior is, and all the machines are top tier with all the latest games. Thank you to the Wanaaha tribe for creating a fun, exciting, and welcoming place for those of us passing through. It's an honor to play here every year!”

TuKaNovie Restaurant

Address: 2742 N Sierra Hwy, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

Restaurant

“Out family really enjoyed this restaurant leaving extremely full and happy. There was a bit of a wait but was worth the wait. The prime rib dinner was the special that my parents split. They were so nice to split the meal for them as you see plated in the picture to maintain the presentation of the food. I Loved my rib-eye. Perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. The jackpot Alfredo dish with garlic bread was a hearty portion and heavy that my friend could not finish. The chicken club sandwich was good per my husband. They also served on the table some herb bread with whipped butter. I definitely recommend this place but be prepare to wait. You will be able to entertain yourself until your table is ready with the casino where they will overhead page you that your table is ready. Everyone was very friendly. I hope you have a great experience as we did.”

Salsa's Taqueria - Bishop

Address: 1347 Rocking W Dr, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

“We stayed in Mammoth for 9 days and this was the best food we had the entire trip. The carnitas tacos are unreal! The salsa is so flavorful and not watered down which is rare to find.”

Buzz Rogers BBQ

Address: 2675 W Line St SPC 18, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

Restaurant

“I loved the Big Rib and the Potato salad”

Helena’s Vietnamese Kitchen

Address: 2400 N Sierra Hwy, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

Restaurant

“Actually good food. Having grown up in the Bay Area, I would say my bar for decent Asian food is pretty high, and Helena's meets that bar. Fresh, soft pho noodles with good broth, packaged in a way that actually keeps your food from getting soggy, and comes with a little baggy of all the goodies one would expect with a to-go pho order - Helena knows what she's doing. The Thai Iced Tea is also very good. After trying many of the food options in town, I'd say this is one of the best options, as it's actually good for its category, and not just in the context of 'it's good for a small town'.”

Taqueria mi Guadalajara

Restaurant

“This is a "Must Stop Here" spot when we pass through Bishop. The Double Meats BLT is so good. One of the best BLTs I've had. Good clam chowder too. The sandwich comes with a pickle and a small side of really good potato salad. The staff is are friendly. They are famous for there Jerky. If you are looking for the restrooms they are out in the back corner of the parking lot. Great place to stop for lunch or a break.”

We had it delivered and the delivery person was very polite and professional. My family was very pleased. The kids loved the green olives and the ranch tasted like it was made in house. Perfect size meal for a family of 6!”

Aaron Schat's Roadhouse

Address: 871 N Main St, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

Restaurant

“Such a great burger place. I would say it’s the best burger I’ve ever had! As an Asian, I’m not a big fan of burger, but I came to this place in two consecutive days (Only staying in Bishop for 3 days). Patty is really juicy. Buns are toasted with cheese, really tasty! Sauce selection is also great! Everything is so harmonic in the burgers. Also love the fries! First time having Garlic Parmesan fries, really unique flavor, definitely a thumb up. Prices are super friendly. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t”

El Pollo Loco

“[ 🐢🍕🧀 ] NINJA TURTLE PIZZA I ABSOLUTELY ❤ THIS PIZZA. The staff is really great about keeping up with the demand, and they are really helpful if you have a question, especially about beer. Our pizza came out hot, ready, and fresh soon after we ordered it. It was definitely extra delicious because we chose to eat in. The medium is perfect for two people. We will definitely be back again. 🍻 👏 ✌”

KFC

Address: 1006 N Main St, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

Restaurant

“The food was great at first but I found a bone inside of my pot pie, normally this doesn’t happen so I do not recommend the pot pie.”

Imperial Gourmet Chinese

Address: 930 N Main St K, Bishop, CA 93514, USA

Restaurant

“Ordered Mongolian Beef and Veggies Mixed plus fried rice. Food was passable for American but not authentic Chinese. The best part was the ambience and the place - clean and elegant. It says the average is $30-$50 which I disagree. Most entrees were below $20 with no rice. A bowl of fried rice was $2.50. I'd say a person will average $25 before tax with no alcohol.”
