“Great service, delicious food, and generous portions. My wife and I eat here often. Every time that I have ever needed to entertain a larger group, they have been able to accommodate me. Still one of the best places in valley... maybe the country. The owners make sure that you have the best experience. The servers give great customer service and the food is scrumptious.”

“Went in for late dinner we were greeted with a friendly host who seated us and took our drink order. The waitress arrived shortly after to take our order and was very attentive. The food arrived quickly and hot which for me is very important. If it's supposed to be hot it should be ant it was. Overall I highly recommend this eatery.”

Cafe Bakery Restaurant

“Excellent breakfast and service on June 14,2022 My friend and I came for from Horseshoe Meadows from camping and backpacking. We decided to have breakfast before heading home. Great decision! I ordered a omelet, and they had corn tortillas available in place of bread(gluten free). They made me the most decadent mocha/latte in a large red cup 🥰. Wonderful service by Heidi. Next time I’m on the 395 I’m stopping here!”

Everything was closing and we called last minute to see if we could be seated just before closing, they said yes and when we walked in a table was already set for us. Waitress was amazing, very sweet and food was cooked well and made timely. Beta service I’ve ever had at a restaurant.”

Jersey Mike's Subs

“Great place to stop and get lunch on 395, especially if you're just passing through. Although a little bit expensive, Jersey Mike's has high quality food. I highly recommend the Original Italian or Cheesesteak subs. Both are delicious. Lately the service have been very good as well. It can get a bit crowded on weekends. I recommend downloading their app and ordering ahead to avoid a wait.”

Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel

Address: 51880 Highway 190, Death Valley National Park, CA 92328, USA

Restaurant

“Great spot to stay when visiting Death Valley! More of a motel style but recently updated rooms and has restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, general store across the street with gas, and bar on site. Beds were very comfortable, great water pressure, mini fridges and even though they are wall units, very sufficient AC! Hotel is excellent location: 3 minute drive from Masquite Sand Dunes, 5 minutes from Mosaic canyon, small ranger station across the street and about 30 minutes to Furnace Creek which is center of the park! Would highly recommend staying here!”

Last Kind Words Saloon & Steakhouse

Address: The Oasis at Death Valley, CA-190, Furnace Creek, CA 92328, USA

Restaurant

“Look, yes, prices are expensive. But give me a break about complaints. We are out in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of the highest inflation in 40 years. I have traveled to other remote national park lodges over the years, and there is always limited eating choices. I am not there for the culinary moments, but visit for the natural beauty of the park and the adventure. As long as there is edible food then just go with it. I was had some amazing chili at Yellowstone, it was the only food available at the end of the day when they were closing, and it was very satisfying. At the saloon, I had the prime rib with asparagus and baked potato. It was delicious. My dining partner enjoyed the wings. Go get you your exercise during the day and work up an appetite. And enjoy the food adventure of a national park.”

Crowbar Cafe & Saloon

Address: Old State Hwy 127, Shoshone, CA 92384, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“This is not the kind of place I usually expect to find a culinary masterpiece — the only restaurant in a tiny desert town — but the rainbow trout was truly brilliant. The most delicious whole fish, expertly cooked. Zucchini and yellow squash, broccoli rabe, baked potato. All seasoned simply but perfectly. Whoever was cooking that night knows what they are doing. Bravo.”

Tecopa Brewing Company
