“I bought my lunch on the mainland. Really greasy burger and fries from an authentic L.A. food truck. Anyway, got two of everything, ate one meal for breakfast and took the fairy to the magic kingdom of Catalina. I had a great time on the isle of dreams and stopped at West End in mid-afternoon. I ordered a coffee, took out my second meal and proceeded to pig out. I had a great time for next to no $. So for me, The West End was cheap and atmospheric. A perfect place to bring your own food.”

“Didn't get food but my friends did. They enjoyed the breakfast burritos and sandwiches. The staff was also very friendly and very helpful. “We flew into Catalina Island for brunch at the Airport in the Sky Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The highlight of our meal was the buffalo burger, which was deliciously juicy and flavorful. The restaurant was bustling with activity, as many hikers were also enjoying the beautiful day. We paid USD 38 for the landing fees, which was reasonable considering the unique location and stunning views. Overall, it was a delightful outing with great food and a lively atmosphere.”

“The food is so amazing...we had lunch there and returned for dinner! Shared crispy green beans while he had chilaquiles adding egg and I enjoyed the baja fish tacos (plain). There was a lot of fish on those tacos. I preferred the chipotle aioli sauce with tacos. For dinner, we had pesto pizza and calamari. (side note, these green beans are 100% better than the ones at The Habit)”

“Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. After walking down the beach front street/restaurant row, my friend and I decided to finally settle on a place that had sushi. The restaurant (like all of Avalon) was small and cozy, and although the decor made me feel like it was some cheap home in the wall, the food that we ordered completely changed my tune. The California roll was actually quite good and didn't take like something dragged out of the supermarket and placed on your plate. The orange roughy was actually quite good as well, and the salads tasted farm fresh! We had both resolved ourselves for a bad experience, but the meal really was on of the highlights for the day. If we were staying longer we would have enjoyed some wine and the sunset, but that is for another daydream adventure. But we will return, as the food was also good on purse strings.”

“The winner of my Santa Catalina Island trip goes to “ Bluewater Avalon” this place is legit and to die for restaurant. No wonder why they’ve got a ton of good reviews on Google and now I’m reviewing this place too. The food here was over the top I cleaned all the plates, everything was fresh, the oysters (super fresh), scallops, cod, calamari and pasta all the dishes were flavorful and cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and fast, the view from the restaurant was amazing. Thumbs up!!”

“Pete’s is the only one who opens if you are hungry after 9 pm. As you may know most of the restaurants in the island close at 8 pm. And all the bars close around 10 pm. - midnight, it’s going to be a problem if you’re hungry after 9 pm. But no worries you have Pete’s open all day all night long from 7 am. - 2 am. The food here was good and excellent service. I really appreciated for your late night work!!”

“Mrs. T's Chinese Kitchen and Avalon bakery is the takeout Chinese choice for the resort town of Avalon. The food was delicious and plentiful. They have several ready to go dishes. A combo + 1 is one of the roughly dozen or so main entrees and chow main noodle and fried rice. Prices are about $15 for a combo + 1 and $16 for a combo +2. A large takeout box of something they need to cook up takes about 10 minutes. There's no seating, it is takeout only. Open from 11:30 AM to 7 PM. Prices for anything in Avalon is resort pricing, so relatively speaking this is not an expensive place to get a good tasting, filling hot meal on the island. Not far from the waterfront, but still within the area you can drive your golf cart to.”

“My spouse and I decided to stop here for breakfast after our hour and a half boat ride on the Catalina Flyer around 10am. Food was fantastic. Definitely hit the spot after not eating all morning. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. However, the service was not so great. We felt very rushed and not personable. We were also shoved into a corner in a room that was very warm with no fresh air. And lastly, the price was a little too high for the quality of the experience. Otherwise, we would dine here again.”
