Quarters was an extremely busy restaurant, we put our name down early and waited about an hour and half to be seated. They have a drink area where you can order drinks while you wait. We got the large combo and from start to finish, the servers cook the meat for you. While it is more efficient this way, it did feel very rushed as they wanted to get you in and out as quick as possible in order to get through their long list of waiting diners. Overall, the meat was great and the side dishes were excellent. Worth a visit.
Line was super long, waited about 2 hours before we got seated. But we ended coming early and then walking around the area and go shopping!
Server was super friendly and helpful when asking for recommendations! The side dishes were delicious. We ended up getting the pork belly, beef belly, and cold noodles. The meat tasted very fresh and delicious.
Ambiance was very nice, server helped cooked the meat to its perfect state. Music was very nice and fit the vibe really well.
Can get very busy, especially on Friday evenings or weekends. Had lots of seating, and service was very friendly and servers were prompted, attentive and quick with the cooking. There were also lots of side dishes (salad, seaweed salad, potato salad, kimchi, egg, tofu, soup, rice sheet). Our group of 4 ordered combo 1 + seasoned boneless short ribs (would recommend!). The price can be on the higher end, so be prepared (better to split among a group size). Overall would recommend!
This was our first time having Korean BBQ. We are from out of state and our front desk clerk of our hotel recommended it. We are so grateful he did. The 2 hour wait time was WORTH IT! The food was amazing, we got the beef combo and did not regret it. The meat was tender and flavorful. The server cooks the meat at the table and if you've never been just ask for a quick tutorial and they will provide one.
I also really enjoyed the Soju Raspberry drink, it was light and refreshing. Hands down a must in LA!
High quality meat in a new, modern setting where they cook the meat for you, you don’t have to yourself. I will admit other reviews are right that the staff could be more polite and explain the items/options more, but I’m a frequent flier to Asian restaurants of all types so I already expected that to happen so I wasn’t as upset as others since I predicted and planned for that experience.
We chose the Brisket (some of the best I’ve had @ BBQ and definitely my favorite option), the bulgogi which was also delicious, the spicy chicken (this one was so so I could have gone without because it wasn’t as crispy or seasoned as I prefer), and the jumbo shrimp (very tasty with all the chili dips and sauces).
It’s more expensive that other Korean BBQ options close by, but I would say the meat quality is higher and I really liked how clean it was on the inside. Sitting near the entrance can be a challenge when it’s windy because the smoke will get in your face a lot but it’s all part of the experience. Overall very good and I would recommend to any BBQ fan.
