Toe Bang is a Korean drinking restaurant. It was quite busy when we went on a Tuesday at 9pm.
The parking lot we parked is is behind the restaurant and you will have to pay $10 dollars to park there.
The restaurant had a loud busy atmosphere. We had to grab the attention of the wait staff to be seated.
It then took us about 20 minutes to get the attention of wait staff to place our order, even after we had pushed the table bell multiple times.
After ordering, we received our food relatively quickly except 1 dish. They had to be reminded.
The plates are pricey. Example; popcorn chicken is $20.99.... for popcorn chicken?!?!
It may be a large portion but you can go down the street to multiple places and get the same portion with sides and pay $5.00 less or even $7.00 dollars less.
(We wanted to try something new)
All in all it's an okay place with some tasty dishes but if you want a place that's the same, drinking food and environment, go to Dong Goo Chicken on Western Blvd. Its cheaper and has free parking, during the week, tasty food and more to choose from.
My first time coming to this restaurant, and everything was excellent, from their food and service. I'll be coming again
fun and lively korean bar/restaurant with food options that are a hit or miss. wait time was reasonable (20min) considering we went on a busy friday night.
corn cheese with hot cheetos: thought this would be a gimmick but actually loved the addition of cheetos to the dish!
spicy rice cake with noodles: a massive dish to share with at least 3 people. everything was cooked well and had good flavor!
fried chicken wings: wouldn’t recommend. tasted like any other fried chicken and lacked flavor
I loved the atmosphere. It's busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but I didn't mind - I watched the Dodgers win on one of the numerous TV's lining the walls. I ordered the kimchi and potato pancakes. As a heads up, there's not many vegetarian or vegan options, however, the watermelon is excellent 👌🏼
Good food to share. Definitely a fun place to drink with friends and hangout. They were pretty busy so it did take a while to get our server to get to us even with the call button but they were running around tables non-stop.
