Good vibes with a lovely and extensive happy hour menu for both food and drinks. The yellowtail and Jalapeño were good, but nothing too special. The Spicy Sashimi Salad was refreshing and the pork belly salad was really good! They were both very filling and delicious. The tori Karaage (Japanese styled fried chicken) was also very yummy and crispy. For the drinks, I personally liked the Yuzu sake over the nigiri peach… but they were both really really good if you like sweeter drinks. The staff were really attentive and friendly.
I do remember giving at least three compelling toasts. I’m talking emotionally moving toasts that can lift mountains like how God’s hands move time.
Only seriously good sake can make one say such things.
A cold bottle of sake resets truth and uplifts like few medicines can. Here here!
Parking is hell unless you get lucky. I would suggest doing ride share. The courtyard behind the restaurant is a vibe. It’s trendy, modern-ish, well lit, and green. Inside… you’ll find delicious sushi and great sake. They have a thing for presentation. They brought out sushi with salt on fire… my daughter got a kick out of it.
Really enjoyed this place because we were able to enjoy a good Happy Hour while waiting in a 2 hour queue at a KBBQ place nearby. We got some sushi rolls and sake and was worth it!
The rolls are classic, but well made and tasted good. The quality was decent and I'd definitely come back! Great way to spend time if you're in the area waiting.
Nice place. Friendly staff, Happy Hour is the best. And wait…garlic fries with your sushi?? Sure! A definite return is in order.
