“Organic bakery in the heart of San Rafael. I came upon this cozy cottage looking place when I got off the beaten path of 4th street. Worth finding! Coffee and hot and cold sandwiches available but the variety of baked goods was so creative … I went for the sweets… the banana Meyer lremon bread/cake is a standout. And I loved loved loved the whole wheat very muffin. Incredible flavors and healthy ingredients! Yay! . I no longer have to be sad that Arizmendi is gone from the San Rafael scene. What a gem…. They even have an upright piano and a children’s books and game corner. I’ll be back!😊”

The seating area is large and parking wasn’t hard at all. I wish they had more than one small bathroom at the back of the store because there was a line even though the shop was mostly empty.”

“I've been going to Peet's for several years now. I'll admit, when I first tried it I thought it was way too strong, and the mochas (my favorite gourmet choice) tasted like licorice. Weird? We'll, as my palate developed, I started appreciating the Peet's flavor profile, and I've been ordering from them since. “California is crazy for this brand, so we were excited to check out this company store on a Hwy 1 drive. It’s definitely good, but kind of a strange place. No dedicated facilities, so the first task for road-trippers is to find the one public bathroom across town before settling into lunch. The store doesn’t have dedicated space for lunch, so we ate it at a park around the corner. After all this exploring to basically eat a - decidedly delicious - sandwich, soup and salad, we went back to the store at 4:02pm to buy some cheese and learned they had just closed for the day. Definitely a work-to-live move and can’t hate them for it. All said, the lunch was great but the experience a bit more of an adventure than planned. Easy to do as a couple but would involve a lot of wrangling with a larger family.”

“This 7-11 has several great employees during the day, however there is a rather larger male who works the night shift that has ripped us off several times. He gives the wrong change, and always tries to burn ya on our winnings from lottery tickets. It hasn’t just happened once it has happened numerous times. He is rude and gets mad if you ask for an item that he has to get up to get such as cigarettes or lighters. He doesn’t even attempt to hide his distain. After calling him on the money from the lottery winnings, now whenever we bring in our winning tickets he just automatically says the machine isn’t working. He really does not like to have to move at all. But watch out for him when it comes to your change. He has shorted several times.”
