This place is amazing.. great food and friendly staff. Would recommend anyone looking for a nice local pup experience. Not many like it these days.

Lunch for a bunch. Our group ordered a multitude of dishes. Everyone was pleased with their choice. As a bonus we were able to bring our 2 dogs into the restaurant as an exception to their implied standard policy. I suspect that if their behavior was lass than exemplary, we would have been asked to vacate. Service was professional and thorough.

Maybe it was just because I was really hungry after a hike, but the french dip sandwich really hit the spot! Their beer selection was pretty good, too!

Our server was great. We even had a nice conversation about some of the beer cans adorning the wall. Overall, great pub-like atmosphere.

Been coming to Carmel-by-the-Sea for years even decades. And some how I kept missing this place. In a town that definitely closes down early for the night. This is one place that stays open later, which is great. We walked into a crowded bar during a NFL playoff game being shown. But we were able to get 2 seats at the bar right away. They have a decent selection of beers, wines and cocktails. My friend got a really good looking cheeseburger and I had very solid steak salad. Good place for a drink and or food in a cozy “sports” (as much as one can be in Carmel) bar. Definitely will come back.
