“Came on a Friday and on Fridays they serve the yummiest quesabirrias. These birria tacos come with delicious and flavorful broth to dip your taco in. The spicy salsa was THE BEST addition to these tacos. They are crunchy and I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of meat they each had. The birria was tender and flavorful as well. Definitely recommend coming on Fridays for their quesabirrias!”

“On my first visit I had honey walnut shrimp and the portion was so generous that I had enough left over for later. It was my first time at Fortune Garden and I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. The location is right off Highway 101 and whenever I'm traveling through that area of the Central Coast I will make it a point to stop there. I returned five months later on my way home from camping and once again was so glad I did. I ordered the seafood and tofu clay pot which had shrimp, scallops and calamari. It was absolutely delicious and was so happy to find it on the menu. It's Chinese comfort food and the sauce was so yummy over white rice.”

“Cute, relaxed, pub/beer store with a small menu of great food and 14 draft lines. 6 coolers worth of beers from all over the world, and a bandolier of underberg for good measure!”

“Went here to try out the coffee and wow I am blown away. I am very picky with my iced mochas and this met my expectations and gave me a smile. I order an iced mocha with oatmilk and it was beautifully crafted rich and sweet. With enough caffeine but not too much. I also ordered there duck fried donuts and omg soooo good so definitely 💯 recommend just to go there and try. They have sandwiches if you’re not feeling a coffee and pastry or you can visit later and try the dinner.”

“Cozy spot in downtown Carmel by the Sea. We enjoyed a glass of wine and appetizers while watching the game before our dinner reservation at Seventh and Dolores steakhouse next door. The Annex features a nice flight of Folktale wines along with other wine options. Their Sparkling Brut with caviar chips were a tasty treat to set the mood.”

“Quiet little grill hidden across the street from the entrance to Spyglass Golf Course. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a great variety of snacks and drinks. Right on the golf course so you have great views from the inside, and outside, seating. The staff was great. Very helpful and attentive to my specially ordered sandwich and were very courteous. Food came out fast and hot and made to order. Beers are in a stand-up fridge, and we're exceptionally cold. The menu had a great set of options to choose from as well.”

“This is the second time we've come here. They recently opened on 3/17/23. The first time we tried two of the specialty cocktails, which were entertaining and great. This time I tried a classic martini, served in an impressive Kona etched glass. It was good, but not great. Next, we tried the pupu platter, which was delicious. Their breaded shrimp is delicious, as well as the calamari. The fish and chips is great, one of my fellow diners said it was the best he had. I think one of the other local pubs has it equally as good. The chips are very crispy, arguably the best in the area. Two of their deserts have dry ice to create a fog which is very entertaining. We had the chocolate lava cake. The ice cream was as good as Marianne's. Be prepared for the bill, but it's worth it. They charge about 3% more to use a credit card. I saw the owner overseeing everything when I came in, which is excellent. The staff is attentive and helpful.”

“AMAZING!!! Showed up at 5pm and they were almost sold out of everything for the day - clearly the place is VERY popular! Tried the lemon, chocolate, snickerdoodle, pecan caramel praline, key lime, and original. The chocolate was very rich! They were all fantastic but my favorites were the key lime, praline, and original.”

“We had an excellent experience at the Spotted Duck! From the greeting when we walked in the door, the excellent table service and the spectacular food, this quickly became our favorite dinner experience in Monterey. We enjoyed the lamb gnocchi and the scallop entrees and would go back to have them again. Our next visit we look forward to the duck and the risotto entrees!”

“This place is an absolute MUST if you are in the mood for authentic Mexican food. It was so good that my daughter and I went for lunch and came back that same day for dinner! I had carne asada street tacos for lunch and it was amazing! My daughter had fish tacos and she said that the batter was light and not greasy at all. For dinner my daughter had a torta with grilled chicken and I had the pozole. So delicious! The prices are a little steep but you do get a lot of food. There is also a salsa bar that you can access. The ingredients are fresh and the food is made to order. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I will be returning for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Been in town a few days and decided to have our last night out at this beautiful sports pub! Lucky us, we showed up Tuesday night where the locals had a music mashup (live music). These folks on stage were absolutely talented, and with the already awesome atmosphere they carried the night out with great music and vibes! Tons of delicious beer on tap and food was fantastic! The fish and chips were fresh and the homemade tarter sauce was incredible! Thank you Bull Dogs Sports Pub and crew for a memorable visit. We are definitely coming back whenever we pass by again!”

“It was a great place, spacious and open concept with picnic-style tables in the middle. It could use just a little sweeping up of the floors and tidying up in general, and maybe a fresh coat of paint to make it appear a bit cleaner, thus the 4 stars. But, if you are a lover of a good beer you should give this place a try. They have a very good selection of craft brews. They also offer a small selection of comfort food which I thought was great. We ate chicken salad and grilled cheese with tomato soup and didn’t drink on an empty stomach. And still, I felt this great IPA kicked in right away! Mission accomplished”

“A laidback tap house with some eccentric decor, including a graffiti wall, a hung surfboard, and a wall of posters/stickers. There is also a variety of seating, such as traditional bar, tall tables, and a few couches. The beer selection is large and runs the gamut. They also have a decent wine selection. I enjoyed the hazy on tap as well as a couple different sours. I also tried a 13.5% oak-barrel-aged beer that was pretty out there and heavy. My German friend was surprised by all the German-stylized coasters and glasses. The bartender was pretty cool. He was easygoing and funny, and gave some nice pointers about the beer. This spot also has a huge bottle/can selection and does growlers too. I have to say this is one of the most eclectic, high-quality tap rooms I’ve been to in quite some time.”
