“This place defined bagels for me as a child. It's changed hands about the bagels are still great. Every time I'm in town I get bagels here. The happy cow with spicy mustard is, in my opinion, the perfect bagel sandwich, though I sub peproncinis for onions. So good. The bagel dogs are amazing. The bagels are great. Not too dense, but not too bready. The flavors are great. The cream cheese selection is awesome. I love the herb cream cheese and I would fight you over the last serving of honey butter. This place is awesome! They deserve you business.”

“Pizza was delicious. That being said, while waiting for delivery my phone went off for hardly a second, so quick that I thought it was a text and saw I had a missed call. Had to call back several times to find out that it was my delivery driver. I informed him that I missed a call from an unfamiliar number and he responded with a very rude “yeah it’s dominos.” I then had to ask why he called and he said sarcastically “I call when I’m 30 seconds away”(keep in mind I’d been trying to call back for almost 5 minutes). Then when the order arrived I sign the receipt and gave it back to him. He then passed it back to me and told me to give him a tip. “A dollar, two dollars everything helps.” I’ve personally never been begged for a tip before so I gave him $5 even though my financial situation isn’t that great. Not only that but from personal experience working as a delivery driver, I know they are paid minimum wage, unlike servers who are paid significantly less and need tips to help make minimum wage. The entire experience with this driver was bizarre and strange. Again pizza-5 stars. Driver? Maybe 2.”

“Great food, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon! Went back recently. Party of four, had reservations (recommended). Seating can be tight if they are busy, but the service is great and very accommodating. Huge wine list, full bar, delicious bread. The menu is full of standards, some with a Fandango twist. Had huge scallops, perfectly cooked with an amazing lemon and butter sauce. The paella was perfect, large serving, with all the great seafood and meat mix. Grand Marnier souffle was excellent. Profiteroles for a birthday celebration were so good. And the creme brulee is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend a visit. Not inexpensive, but well worth it for a special occasion.”

“Kelvin was an amazing host and this is an amazing establishment. We came here for my sons 4th birthday. Realized it seemed really fancy, and that we didn't have a reservation and worried if we were able to try it out. But, That wasn't a worry at all. They sat us right away and never gave an impression that the kids were unwelcome. Everything we ordered was great. Ask the kids 7 & 4, that speaks volumes. It was upscale and yet so relaxed. Kelvin helped us directly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be coming back, as it was the best place we've had around here and we've been visiting for 36 years.”

“Their food was so good, it made me want to move to Pacific Grove just so I could have it more often. You could check off what went well like a list: Prompt service? Yes. Great portions? Yes. Convenient location? Yes. Delicious food? F*** yes. Even when my friend asked for his yellow curry to be less spicy after receiving it, they gladly took it back and fixed it up. My Pacific Delight came in a delightful mix of shrimp, scallops and calamari with a variety of veggies, with a light yet flavorful citrus chili sauce. They're extremely accommodating and friendly! I can't recommend them enough with words alone so I suggest you stop by here and see what I mean, when you get the chance to come around to Lover's Point or Pacific Grove :) P.S - points for being environmentally conscience with their offer of paper straws!”

“Solid food and service. Had the fried calamari to start, and was very pleased with the flavor of the cocktail and tartar sauces. The clam chowder bread bowl with garlic crust was an absolute treat - comforting, but not heavy. Had I not ordered an appetizer and dessert, I might have just had two! The cheesecake was not for me - not much cheesy flavor, an incredibly thick crust (though not hard). Serving was very generous though. For anyone looking for a comforting lunch affair, dodge Cannery Row and head on over here!”

We had an awesome experience tonight, we brought in our one and two year old and they put us in the middle of the main dinning room which we were a little apprehensive about because the kids had a long day and were worn out. Turns out that even with a full restaurant that the service was quick, very friendly and the food came surprisingly fast. The food was great! The noodles were freshly made that day and you could tell that it was made to order! Sad that after living here for two years that this was our first visit and most likely our last. (here to take care of unfinished business) We would have been normal customers otherwise. If we ever get back to Monterrey/pacific grove this will be a must have!”

“We were searching for a place to eat. It was walking distance from our inn. The place is very small and cozy. We were able to walk in and sit at the sushi bar. The staff and sushi chefs are very friendly. We sat at the sushi bar. The wait staff will take your order but you can still talk to the sushi chefs who are very friendly. The order arrived promptly and the sushi was fresh. They had fresh crab and uni available so we took advantage of those selections. Our two sushi rolls and uni tasted delicious. We almost didn't take any pictures of anything because before we knew it the food was gone. There were also beautiful flowers outside in bloom. Enjoy!”
