We had the bao buns, the pulled BBQ pizza, and the fish and chips and everything was amazing, some of the most delicious food I’ve had from a vegan place in a long time. “I went there recently for my first time. I loved the comfortable environment, especially the Pride flag on the outside. We need more safe spaces. The food was absolutely delicious with every bite. Even after the appetizers I was excited for the next meal. To finish it off with a delicious dessert was fabulous. I went with two others since portions are big. Good restaurant! “The Eddy's BBQ Pork was very tasty. Super juicy pork, delicious sauce, and served on a crunchy roll. I also had some beet salad as a side, and the beets were perfectly cooked to a nice softness and the sauce they came in was lightly sweet. This place seems to be pretty new, but they already have a reasonably-priced, tasty menu and great service.”

“Fantastic Employees that are friendly, welcoming & great service. Sadly the food is lack luster. We ordered a pizza which had so little sauce and cheese it was like a dry bread stick and the pepperoni & salami were few. The house garden salad would have been wonderful except all the bitter white pieces of iceburg lettuce (stick to the green leaf that was mixed in!!) To end on an up note; the draft beer was cold and the ice tea was fresh with good flavor.”

“It’s hard to argue that you know Napa Valley cuisine and restaurants if you have not been to Solbar. Amazing dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They divide the menu roughly into vegetarian/refreshing dishes and deeper dishes often involving meat or protein. My only problem with Solbar is that I don’t have more stomachs to process all the food I want to order when I go. The wine list is amazing too. And the setting is beautiful. And the staff treat you great. And, and ... I suggest you go. Now.”

For the price however, I feel like it wasn't what we paid for. Certain things weren't as clean as I'd want, or were very outdated. “We’ve been in the area for three days. And we’ve eaten all our meals in restaurants. We wandered into Jonny’s today and had a great meal with attentive, excellent service. Unlike our dinner at Lovina two nights ago, the oysters were very very good and were delivered to the table promptly after ordering. It was obvious that one of the gentlemen behind the bar was an owner. Unlike every other restaurant in the area, including Bottega, his demeanor made it obvious that he appreciates every customer. The attitude was refreshing. Also, they have another restaurant next door, and we were able to order off that menu too. Which was great. The grilled octopus was delicious (as were the bar snacks we had - fries and the tacos of the day). Just after happy hour ended, a couple walked in. Though they missed the time cutoff, they seemed to be folks who’d had a tough time lately. The co owner gladly made an exception for them. He didn’t have to, and they weren’t pushing. He just did it. I’d happily return and heartily recommend Jonnys.”
