“We always enjoy our time at Compline. The food is amazing. I'm a vegetarian and I really appreciate when chefs can prepare versatile vegetables. All my other friends rave about the duck fat fries! And the desserts, yum! The atmosphere is inviting and warm, you can take home your favorite bottle of wine from the wine shop in front, too! Last but not least, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and on top of it. We loved sitting at the bar and watching Angel manage 100 things at once without breaking a sweat. My server forgot to put my appetizer tacos in, but he promptly offered to comp. them when I inquired. I ordered the diver scallops and risotto and it was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the short rib and side of quack and cheese - he said it was really good. I would absolutely come back and refer a friend.”

“Excellent Moscow Mules!!!! The Fried Buttermilk Chicken sandwich is just a good as it sounds. Salads change seasonally so beware if you find one you like. Indoor seating is always nice or if you find a spot at the bar; outdoor seating is also a win in the summer time or if your warm blooded like my wife (they have overhang with heaters). I would not say it is the most memorable meal but it was both enjoyable and tasty. The only negative is that you are moved through rapidly. Before the appetizer had a chance to digest, the entrees arrived. Having said that, the food was good, as well as the prices and being downtown enabled us to take an after dinner stroll along the Main Street. Would recommend for either a couple or a group.”
