However, I have to admit that this is one of the best meals I've had in a restaurant in years. The food was excellent, nice portions, friendly and excellent service in a lovely atmosphere. The prices were very modest. I would definitely eat here again and recommend eating here to friends and family.”

“Where do I begin? Excellent food and service! One of the best pork sandwiches I've had in years...moist on fresh Dutch Crunch. My husband ordered the Brisket Sandwich. Wow! We will order again. The sides were delicious: potato salad, slaw, fries, and beans. They were all perfect so I can't decide which was the best. Order all of them! There are only a few parking spots and tables for about 30 but well worth the wait. Take out is always available at The Back Door.”

“Friendly bbq place in Napa but the bbq was a little different from what I am generally used to. The bbq brisket thing was good but a little too rare for my taste with a decent crust. The bbq chicken was good. I had a salad with bbq ranch dressing which was interesting. The ice cream brownie sundae wasn’t the best though. But overall a nice decent place to come have some different bbq with reasonable prices.”

Adam at the bar is like an octopus, able to manage a million different drinks and plates, and always so welcoming and friendly. Hands down my favorite locals restaurant (favorite restaurant, period!) Love running into happy friends here. Owner frequently comes out to greet his customers. Just the best. Short ribs plate and the halibut are my favorites. Chefs always cook whatever fish is on the menu to perfection. I love Fumé!”

“Mobile orders are always tricky things. When you don't watch the sandwich being made, you won't know about mistakes until you take a bite. We ordered 3 foot longs. One was perfect. One didn't have any of the extras we asked for (asked for heavy BBQ sauce, got very light; asked for salt and pepper, but no). The third one was the wrong sandwich - we ordered the steak club, but got no bacon and no turkey, so it was just roast beef. None of the sauces were on either. This is my second mobile order at this location. The first was also off by a few ingredients. Hey, the food was good and the place was clean, so I might stop by again, but only if I have time to watch them make our food.”

They had small rolls and it looked like the owner or manager was calculating every tab by hand on the sushi bar (customer side). after seeing the small rolls I felt like they cared more about the pennies, than the quality and "sushi bar" experience. the servers/waitresses were very curtious and attentive, but it just didnt make me want to go back. the older sushi chefs looked bored and it looked like maybe a newer chef was making rolls and giving it to the older ones to cut. the food was good, but nothing to rave over and tell all your friends and family.”
