Staff is always friendly and there are some delicious premade food options in the cold case. Ample parking is shared with the nearby bowling alley. A spot can usually be had pretty close to Summer Thymes. Sticky buns are amazing!”

“Drunken noodles with tofu were awesome! The tofu was perfectly cooked. Has a nice crispy exterior while still moist but firm on the inside (which is so difficult to execute correctly). Flavors were on point. Also ordered the pineapple curry. Portion was a bit small and i would of appreciated a bit more pineapple in the dish but the taste was explosive. Definitely left me wanting more. Sweet tea (version of Thai iced tea) was well prepared, nicely balenced. Good place to go if you are not in a hurry as it is a small family run business with a very mellow approach to service. I look forward to eating here more often now that I have discovered this hidden gem.”

Once in a while the smoothies have needed more blending, little chunks stop the flow through the straw, annoying, not always the case though. “We really like this place. It was very nice inside kind of upscale but quiet environment. I like the way their menu was laid out, prices were reasonable, and most importantly the food was excellent! A major consideration for us as well is location. Much easier to park and get in and out of than the Thai places in downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City. We will absolutely be returning in the near future.”

A couple small issues kept me from going 5 stars tonight but I will definitely be back and my honesty always prevails. I "liked" it. Kids had dillas, beef and chicken are both good, served with beans and rice. Plenty for the 8 year old to fill up. Nice this place is lesser known on a day like today but with good food and prices the word tends to spread...”

Ranch dressing is too dilly and the Caesar is powerful garlic. But it's still a better choice than any fast food, that's for sure.”

“Definitely a good old fashioned mom and pop store. The fish and fries were great. It's a store front shop so handicap parking is a little out there. The owners are very nice, drinks are order only and I did not see the bathroom. It is a pickup for home type of place so the decor is somewhat lacking. Not a date place but good food to go. Order to go and you can fill up a to-go plate of whatever you want. This has by far been my favorite restaurant in this town since it opened like 20 years ago and they’re still doing great business. Keep it up guys! I’ll do business here til the day I die! And by the way I read other peoples reviews on this restaurant. Anyone who says it’s no good has no taste. Take out is any time, not just lunch. The sushi is amazing, the crab puffs are to die for and the prices are quite reasonable. I recommend visiting on a regular basis.”

“I've only been here one time. I ordered an apple Danish, by far the most amazing one I've ever had! Reasonably priced. I checked out pretty much everything they sell and everything was priced fairly. They sell whole pies so if you need one for the holidays I'd say this is the place to go. It was clean and nice inside. The employee who helped me was nice as well. I definitely plan on going back!”
