“Ordered the Katsu curry plate and my friend ordered the Katsu Bowl. Both were delicious. The pork katsu had a nice crunch and tender inside. The curry was flavorful. The staff was nice and friendly. Food came out fast and hot. Nice seating area with about 7-8 tables.”

“Tried Thai 7 Bistro for the first time and loved it!! My wife and I ordered take out and enjoyed each dish. The Chicken Pad Thai was right there with my favorite pad Thai dishes I’ve had. The flavor was on point with juicy chicken, peanuts, and lime. We also ordered the yellow curry with tofu. Their yellow curry had a great depth of flavor with the creaminess of the coconut milk and a nice mild curry flavor. To top it off I got the Thai iced tea, always a great drink! The service was quick and friendly, our take out was ready in a quick 15 minutes! Highly recommend!”

“A Chinese Korean fusion spot for Jjampong and Jjangmyun. A small, clean restaurant that recently opened. I visited during lunch and got my childhood soul food - jjangmyun. I got the gan-jjangmyun, and it came with (many) huge chunks of raw, uncooked onions in the sauce, which I found difficult to eat. Mapo tofu was pretty good, but the bowl of rice that came with it was completely dry. The restaurant is pretty clean, and the service was attentive. It would be an ok choice for a quick bite.”

“The appetizer was served after dinner was served. Beet salad was on dinner plate and ran into sausage and potato salad. Sides were only warm. Leftovers in stryofoam not degradable cardboard.”

“Nice place tucked inside Carbon Canyon. The roast their own beans and have a nice selection of coffees. A great surprise to me is that they don't dilute their cold brew so you get that high octane caffeine boost. The location is beautiful. Very quiet and surrounded by nature. It's really a g red meat place to kick back relax and enjoy a coffee for 2 or 3 hours.”

“While at the Brea Mall, I found myself craving a small, but savory, bite to eat. As I made my way into the Brea Mall food court, I found my answer in big red letters: Poncho's. Pancho's is a taqueria serving traditional Mexican street food such as tacos, burritos, tortas, and aguas frescas. I'm a huge fan of Al pastor, but they had unfortunately sold out, so I settled for a carne asada mulita (which is like a quesadilla on steroids). A few minutes later, my mulita was ready with two types of salsa. This wasn't a quesadilla with some carne asada in it. It was an quesadilla with carne asada pilled on it along with some onions, cilantro and guac. The asada was juicy with hints of King Taco and the salsa full of flavor. Not certain when Poncho's in the Brea Mall opened, but that mulita definitely hit the spot. I look forward to going back and trying out a few Al pastor tacos.”

“Chicken was very flavorful with a good amount of spice. Me and my friends were going safe and got the number 2 combo (mild), but it was not that spicy. If you enjoy spice don't be afraid to take it up a level. The fries were seasoned just right with their toast being very soft soaking in all the flavor from the chicken. Would definitely go here again. Price is pretty reasonable.”

“This place is legit. Look, if your looking for a standard steak like you would find at Staters or another grocery store, this place really isn't your gig. If you want superb quality, this is the place. You get what you pay for, and it's worth every bite! Look at the marbling on this A5 Ribeye!!”

“I ordered a cold brew with sugar free hazelnut syrup and the avocado breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious. I stayed here for like 4 hours to study and it was fairly busy throughout my stay for a Wednesday morning. They have wifi and plenty of electrical plugs along the bench seating. There's also a lot of parking.”

“Simple cafe with several fresh pastry options and breakfast and lunch menu items. We had the bagel and eggs and bagel with salmon breakfast. Both enjoyable yet the Salmon bagel had a bit much pepper. Coffee was great and presented in a simple mug you would have at home. Its indoor dining has a "cozy" feel to it. Easy ambiance music makes enjoying breakfast a bit more relaxing. Friendly service. Price a bit on the high side but for a quiet place to start off the morning it maybe worthwhile. Family owned establishment.”
