“It was a wonderful dining experience! The view on the upper deck overlooking the ocean was so beautiful and relaxing! Being able to visit and enjoy each others company was much appreciated even tho there were many others dining also. Our service was wonderful, and everything from drinks, starters, entree, dessert and coffee was was superb and the presentation was awesome! Hope to return and enjoy the food, atmosphere, and lovely sunset again!”

“Nice little place for a romantic dinner for two or a group celebrating a special day. A variety of Italian food. Pasta made fresh daily. I enjoyed the hand made lobster stuffed ravioli with a wonderful safron sauce topped with shrimp pieces. Their desserts are amazing.”

“This is one of my favorite places to eat, I am a vegetarian so I really love their fake meat. If you get the spicy fried rice with the vegetarian meat you will not be let down, Matter of fact, you'll be floating on a cloud by the time you're done. Every time I introduce my (meat eater) friends to this dish, it becomes their favorite dish. However i still remember eating here before I became a vegetarian and I remember everything tasting so unique and amazing. Laguna's best!”

“Very cool. Didn't care for the eggplant, but everything else was very good. Expensive, but what do you expect... we went for a special occasion , but they gave a bar where you can go and watch games. Valet is hard to find in the back alley, but they have metered street parking which we found out after the fact is free after 7pm.. little tip...”

“Guess this is the most cost effective place to eat. But portions are small for the price but the price must be reflective of the area. Food is good though. Salsa is awesome.”

“Beautiful view, great cocktails, and good snacks! This place can't be beat when it comes to panoramic ocean views and fresh air. Whether you're just in town for a visit or a longtime resident this stop is a must. The appetizers are probably the best things on the menu and I would probably recommend those over the entree menu items. I always get the sangria because it is by far the best I've had and I still don't really know if I prefer the red or the white! If you want to go for sunset good luck finding a table but they are very accommodating to people that are standing and if you want a table for brunch/ lunch try to get there right at opening time.”

“Great value in creamy/heavy and decently sized shared plates. Seems good for dates and large groups. You can eat at higher/lower seating or some of the large tables at the restaurant (no oceanside view inside), or you can sit in other lounge-like hotel spaces such as the lobby. Restrooms (beautiful and clean) are in the hotel space (not sure if it's wheelchair accessible). The free dessert bite via Yelp check-in was about two bites.”

“The food was delicious! I am not one to order pasta dishes at nice restaurants because I can't stomach the fact that I could feed a family of 4 for $10 with spaghetti and meatballs... But the mushroom pasta at sapphire is not something I could have made at home. It was delicious! I also had some of my friends' salmon and chicken and both were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and moist. Great spot for a date night but if you make a reservation make sure to request the patio if you want to dine outside!”

“UNBELIEVABLE!! Maybe the best breakfast-lunch experience ever! Not one bad thing to say about my family's recent dining experience. You know a place is great when all five people in your party rave about the experience. I strongly suggest this place. Although it was my first time, other members in the party have eaten at this place several times. My veggie (feta and spinach) omelet was outstanding. The seasoned potato cubes and toast were also excellent. However, the star of the plate was the homemade raspberry jam. I think it was something more of a jam on steroids. That stuff is addicting. Service is outstanding and price to portion is good considering the quality of food. My omelet was at least three eggs...large eggs (maybe even four). You get a handful of potatoes, two pieces of toast, and the jam for $11.50. Throw in the quaint inside and outside deck within view of the ocean a mere couple of blocks away and you can see why this place is a gem. I urge you to check the menu (pictures of various items) on their website. It's pretty big with tons of variety.”

“Sorry Locals only - place is a hidden gem on the top floor so most people have trouble finding it. Freshest and most incredible sushi from authentic sushi masters, with many of the OG chiefs from Japan. Sit at the bar and ask them to make you something to your liking - menu is also a great place to start. Favorite Roll - Cajun Salmon”

“This local pizza spot is truly the best in Laguna Beach. I wish they would open up more stores like this one. Maybe they could even expand to a national or international level! I wish everyone could share in the heavenly flavor.”

“My daughter and I recently went to go grab a healthy snack at Banzai Bowls. The staff was incredibly friendly and the ambiance was comforting as well. Not to mention, a healthy and refreshing meal. While it usually has a longer wait, please come prepared for it, as the bowls are handmade. You won't regret it.”

“I can not be unbiased about Wahoo's. I have loved it since the very first store in Newport back in the 1980's and still make it my first stop on trips to SoCal. Amazing fish tacos, really tasty rice and black beans. High protein, low-guilt. I even track down stores in other cities like Denver, it's that good. Hands-down the best fast food in any town. The Laguna Beach store has been remodeled since I was last here a few years ago, really opening it up from feeling like you were entering a surf shop from the back door. “The perfect place to celebrate. I simply notified the restaurant that we were celebrating a birthday via the OpenTable reservation, never expected to be greeted by a table with balloons, party hats, streamers etc. seriously way over the top and unexpected. Totally blew us away! Food was fantastic, great flavors! Very appropriately priced. Great brunch deal: $55 for any 2 entrees + bottle of champagne and juice of choice.”

“Been coming here for the longest time and it never disappoints. The Godfather and the Garden Pesto are my go-to slices. Everything else on the menu is just as good! Definitely recommend Gina’s oak street.”

“Went in for breakfast, got some french toast and eggs and it was all just... Ok. Okay service (the waitress seemed grumpy) and the okay food, truthfully it was kind of bland but their hot sauce was great. Good for a quick breakfast, but wasn't memorable. But they're pretty dog friendly which is a plus!”

“I love going here! During the summer or weekends the line is super long, definitely worth it though. It's a real laguna beach tradition to get some ice cream and walk on over to main beach and eat it looking out to the horizon.”

“The empanadas are amazing fun dessert ones that are creative and tasty the people are very nice and clearly love what they do which makes the food all the better when the chef loves what they do 5 stars highly recommend to dine”

“Excellent service.. awesome old and new hip hop videos playing on the TV screens. My ramen bowl kinda tasted soapy at first... Letting me know they just washed the dishware, which is a good sign of sanitation but maybe we need to rinse a little more. After a few spoon fulls of the broth the soapy flavor went away. So glad this place is in the neighborhood. I'll be back for sure!”

“Magnificent food. Great service. Perfect authenticity. I would recommend for the average Indian tourist family to eat here. Millions of vegetarian options and interesting tandoor. Food is cooked well and ambiance is very neat. Overall a 5 star restaurant.”

“Nice. I believe I was at the Deck”
Address: 627 Sleepy Hollow Ln, Laguna Beach, CA 92651, USA
“The Deck is located behind a hotel that's behind a row of stores so it's not obvious from driving by. You need to drive or walk down a downhill alley way where you'll see a valet stand set up. Parking is street or valet. This place is one of the best restaurants with outdoor seating to view the beach. The view is phenomenal! It's a casual setting that's very relaxing and fitting with the beach vibes. As for the food, the meat and seafood dishes seem to be very good but the vegetarian dishes are just ok. The desserts were good but I remember the toffee cake the most. It was definitely sweet but the texture was very interesting in a great way and eating it together with other components on the dish balanced out that sweetness. Drinks are great too, though a bit pricey as expected.”

“Great spot to grab a coffee and some delicious breakfast. Order the breakfast burger and potatoes on the side, it's my personal favorite. One thing the place could do is open more windows or add some fans for some air circulation it can get really hot in there if you're eating inside. I will say this, it is a little pricey for breakfast but you get what you pay for and the food here is really good..”

“The cashier was really nice. My order came out well. Their was like no wait to get my food it was really fast. All the food was good and their protein bowl was definitely worth it. They also have other boxes that are in expensive. I'm a high school student so any this is definitely a place to go for a bite to eat.”
