“This place is unbelievable! The chef is amazing, and the cuisine is exquisite. We've never been disappointed any time we've gone here for lunch or dinner. It's a Mother's Day favorite as well. Street scene is cool, staff is exceptional. Food is consistently a 10+”

“The sushi chef was so friendly and welcoming, actually the whole staff was super pleasant. The uni and toro was delicious and their rolls were made with great sushi rice and quality fish. First time here even though I lived here my whole life, hidden gem. I will be back!”

“My wife and I were looking for a nice place for an intimate dinner and thought this restaurant looked good. We were a bit under-dressed, but we're greeted warmly and seated promptly. The service was great - friendly but not overly familiar, prompt and attentive. The food was excellent! We shared the octopus appetizer on the recommendation of our server, and it was superb. My wife had the Hawaiian prawn and potato soup, and it was excellent. She thought her beet salad was only okay, but my turkey sausage pizza was very good. All in all, we thought the food was excellent, and we would definitely eat there again if we were looking for something special. The only negative I can think of is that the wine list is pretty expensive.”

“Fish tacos were very good. The service was friendly and the environment was relaxed and funky. A great beach spot, a little pricey but that's to be expected in a destination spot.”

“We visited this place while on vacation. The food is AMAZING. The croissant is so buttery and flaky it melts in your mouth. The Brioche was not overly sweet, the filling was delicious, the chocolate eclair was tasty, the filling was light and airy, and not to sweet. The Americano's were smooth and rich. The service was fast and friendly, everyone that helped us was French, a nice touch to the atmosphere. We stopped here twice while on vacation. Highly recommend!”

“Wasn't really planning on going to this place but definitely got intrigued. Turns out it's a great place with many seafood options. The Slappy Hour is GREAT!!! I’m so happy we found this place and had the courage to try it! It looks like a fast food spot but the quality definitely is of higher standard.”

“I just happened into this restaurant, and I could not be happier about it. Simply amazing food! Great service and well lit and happy atmosphere. If you’re thinking of stopping in, definitely do. You’ll be happy you did.”

“Had some really great things here! The skirt steak was very tender and delicious, as were the starters. The cod wasn't great, unfortunately. Friendly service and the drinks were on point.”

“Classic laguna old school sushi bar, just ask the chef to make you what he feels like that evening, sit back and enjoy.”

“Was good but pricey for what I got. Had the lobster ravioli. If there was lobster I did not taste or see it beyond the cheese filing. Yet still tasty. Small portion compared to others I dinner with.”

“Omg. The most amazing sushi. A fabulous little chilled place. Beautiful small sushi bar with an extensive menu. It's small inside so if they're full you will need to wait but it's honestly worth it. Hot and cold sake with great Japanese draught beer to wash it down. Total success”

“Great place for brunch considering weather. A great patio with spectacular views. There is a Mexican restaurant on every corner in southern California so the food is good but not great. Location and view give it 4 stars but food keep it from getting 5. Although food is not bad.”

“If Bob Marley were alive, he'd live on a bench outside of Rasta Taco. The food is so good you'll decide not to shoot the sheriff. The service is so overwhelming nice, the woman might cry. The atmosphere of the patio is so comfortable, you'll get down and sit down. The pineapple sangria is so good, you'll turn into a buffalo soldier. One love my friends.”

“I love Slice and their fabulous chewy crust and build your own pizzas. You can't go wrong if you choose your own toppings or order off the menu. The beer by the ounce is great but wine is a little pricey and you don't really know how much you are spending until you get the bill. So don't go crazy with wine. Checkout the bathroom for some fun while you there.”

“The kitchen was very slow. We were there when the restaurant opened and it filled slowly after that. I had rockfish, which was a nice cut, but too much oil to my taste. The vegetable plate was maybe the best I have ever seen - no kidding. The sweet potato fries and desert were excellent. Our server was not very attentive, but the rest of the staff was helpful. The manager (owner?) was working hard to deal with things, which is commendable. I would go back again.”

“The service was fantastic. Friendly and fun. The chicken pot pie was true old school comfort food. The meatloaf was incredible. Cocktails tasty and portions large. Great place for fun night out.”

“Wonderful staff and food! As a vegan I was able to walk in and ask what options they had for me and the staff were super helpful and able to answer all my questions! I was able to get some wonderful food that tasted fantastic! The only criticism I would give is that everything is VERY oilly so not something I could eat everyday. I would suggest ordering a lighter item like the coleslaw with your food, like my friend did, beacuse it really helps balance everything out nicely.”

“Happy hour was cool. Got the coconut shrimp and the Mahi sandwich. I could have used at least another shrimp cause the appetizer only comes with 3, but the sandwich was very good!”

“Best bread pudding I've ever had in my life! Nice and warm and very moist. Order it from the breakfast menu, with the caramelized bananas on top, and ask for extra sauce. I got the plain one not the cinnamon raisin one. The coffee is nice and bold. You can even put agave nectar in your coffee to sweeten it if you wish. The orange juice is literally freshly squeezed. The breakfast pizza wasn't that great, too dry. In fact all of their pizzas need more sauce. They also poach their eggs too hard, so be sure to ask for poached soft. Great ambience! Just order at the counter, then find a table at the abundant outdoor seating.”

“Excellent value and great selection of dishes. Skip the Urth line next door and eat here. There’s a shaded area in the back, away from the road. Plenty of seating, great food, good prices and NO LINE!”

“Wonderful meals, coffee and baked goods. A great place with outdoor dog friendly seating on their roof. We literally bought all of their baked goods to try and came back for more later the same day. Good soups, sandwiches and flat breads. A reasonably priced lunch deal that is available all day”

“If you're ever in the Festival of the Arts area, Gina's Alfresco is the alternative to dining at Tivoli. They have $5 slices of pizza. I tried the $12 mac & cheese made with brown ale and bacon. It was topped with a cracker crumb and was pretty good considering I was starving and it had just started raining. A freak storm in August. Who would have thought? Just step up to the window and order. Your food comes out a few minutes later. It's just a stand but they serve some decent eats. 3.5 stars rounded up.”

“Good service and decent tacos. Some were very good, like the short rib and blackened shrimp, whilst some of the other tacos were a little bit average/generic. An extensive menu including a kids menu which was actually pretty decent and tasted good. They even had a (very) high chair so the little ones can join you at the high tables.”

“The huge individual slice is ginormous! Decent quality and value.”

“Reunion was wonderful! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service was great. The big reason to come here is their chicken with gravey and mashed potatoes. They were absolutely delicious!! I can't say enough good things about it, it's a must have. Come hungry because the portion is generous. The vanilla old fashioned was great. We also had the BLT which was decent. For dessert we had their butter cake which was very good. Overall, you can't go wrong here, well worth the stop.”
