“You know the feeling after a healthy meal: you’re satisfied but not overstuffed, you are feeling great and your stomach feels great too. This is how I usually feel after Mediterranean food. Unfortunately after eating from Shish Taouk I felt like I have eaten a pizza. Food was heavy and full of oil. It didn’t taste bad and the quality was good so I can understand that a lot of people will like it but that’s not what I am used to when eating delicious Mediterranean and healthy food.”

“In The Shops at Mission Viejo, a very clean, friendly place to eat. The burgers are large and messy, but good. Endless fries if you order them with your burger. We also had an asian chicken salad that was large and fresh. Best was our waiter Jonathon, who owned it. Tab for 2 was about $25.00. Nice outdoor seating, valet parking and a full bar. Try it for casual dining. We loved Islands in Manhattan Beach and love this location as well. Great happy our with ice cold draft beers and the best fries that are unlimited. Tortilla soup is great as are the burgers. Service is always excellent. This is just a really well run restaurant with consistently great food.”

I'm impressed at the turn-around for a quick eats place! Get the al pastor. Chicken crispy tacos - trust me and ask for a side of the spicy green sauce they keep behind the counter. Their catering is really good, too. And the pickled carrots.... ohhh my heart. Great job, Jalapeño's! You made my list as a fantastic place to go for quick, yummy lunch. See ya next week.”

“There are three locations, we tried Mission Viejo, Irvine first but unfortunately the line was long to be outside so We even didn't go checking. We tried another day at Dana point,the line was shorter so we joined and realized need order first. That's why the line was very long. Once you order and pay find a seat, food is served quickly. “Big Original loaded pizzas with BIG fresh, quality toppings piled high. Excellent cheese topped garlic bread all wrapped up nice in aluminum foil. Get the big homemade meatballs in a tray of sauce $5 for 4 meatballs. Great quality sandwiches and salads for quick pickup and GO. Excellent choice for family meals to go. We bring Big O to Go for parties. Everyone loves this food. The owner, Gene, has been running this place forever with nice local guys and girls. Super friendly fast service. Call it in first and pickup it to go. Always on time and stays hot until you open it up.”
