“All I eat are cookies. If I want to rate accordingly, I can say that I don't eat anything that is sweet but I eat the cookies this place makes. Remember that I only eat cookies of this place and nowhere else whatsoever. That's how special and good they are. My friends, whom I have taken to this place give a great thumbs up for their muffins, pies and the rest of the items this place has to offer. This place also has a buy 4 get 4 on cookies, muffins for most of the time.”

“This is a casual, down home, 50's like diner inside and grandma's patio garden outside. Funky fun and great comfort good with the sweetest wait staff and service this side of heaven. One level, on a corner in the Orange Circle district with parking lot across the street and easy walk. Stroll the many antique and novelty shops after lunch or stop by at the end of your day for dinner. ADA compatible and just plain fun. The food was fresh and delicious. I had 3 chicken tacos and they served 3, with all the trimmings. I love this place for a nostalgic trip backwards when "Elvis was King" and life was much simpler.”

“LOVE the bagels here!!!! Pricey, but worth it. The service really is terrible though. I've been going here for more than 10 years. Every time I place my order I feel like I'm burdening them.”

“24hrs here at this place. Just a short skip from Disneyland south and east. Scored a deal on 1/2 dozen, we had hot coco/coffee mochas too. A nice find after the park and way better prices. No restroom here, but the chain market has one in back.”

“My wife and I just wanted to buy a pie. The man at the register was working on something but said he'd be right with us. He finished up what he was working on and was very quick and rude to us. He said the only pies they had we're in the case. We said we needed a minute to decide. He left and a very nice girl helped us. We found d out from her they actually had fruit pies available as well. We are not sure why the other guy didn't mention this. He just seemed too caught up in his own world to care about the customers in front of hi”

“Who the heck doesn't like ice cream! I only got a child's cup as that had more than enough calories for me. If you haven't been to cold stone, just go try it, unless you don't like ice cream, which is weird.”

“My husband and I were recently staying overnight in the city, and I could not wait to grab a sandwich and treat from Specialty's while we were in the area. Sadly, the excitement was quickly (and perhaps permanently) derailed. Though the downtown space is now much larger (and tastefully decorated), the staff were not as friendly or helpful as our previous trips, and the quality of the food has definitely suffered in whatever transition has taken place within the company. I was disappointed with the experience and will probably have to find a new favorite treat place in the city for our next visit.”

“I absolutely love the sourdough bread from here! I live sourdough in general but this place sets the gold standard for sourdough! I live all the way in Riverside and every time I'm in Orange County I make it a point to stop and get some to go. I always get the light baked oval. I take it home, toast it and then spread some Kerrygold Irish butter on it and let it melt.....OMG! I'll also use it to make Avocado toast for breakfast. BEST BREAKFAST EVER!”

“Wonder why this place doesn't have 5 stars. Just the bread alone is 5 stars! I've had the Butternut Squash and the Tomato Soup on Bread Bowl (not pictured, I had it on a diff day) and both were so good and so filling. I've also had the Grilled Brie with Apple and Fig Jam and the Tuna Sandwich. Delicious. Can't wait to be back and try the other grilled sandwiches. I also want to mention, the service is great. The staff walking by checked on us maybe twice to see if we needed anything else.”

“Had Breakfast there. Potatoes were delicious. Very quiet and clean. Onions were a little burnt and the slices of avocado a lil brown. Customer service was great.”

“This is the only authentic Italian deli in the area. We come there all the time for the imported meats, cheese, etc., they have several different types of Salamis. And lots of other homemade goodies. They also have an excellent selection of the four and six foot sandwiches. The bakery is good too we get birthday cakes they're almost every year. A great selection of Italian pantry products as well”

“Normally eating at Panera bread I'm quite pleased however this time in Costa Mesa was the exception to the rule.ordered a bowl of soup yes we got a bowl deliver to the table but it was only half-filled if even that when complain to the hostess and waitress about the low quantity she says well that's the way it is.... Well let it be knowing that the way it is is we will not return to this location”

“Bagels are great, toasted is the way to go. They have over 10 different selections of cream cheese and they are generous with the amount. If its too much you can just take some off. The combination of the warm toasted bagel and cream cheese is great.”

“Cozy Corner Bakery. Staff cared about the store and customer. Great service. Fast and attentive. Well done! Nice quiet outdoor seating if you desire. In a section across the street from the South Coast Plaza mall and the "other" sadder location. Visit this one...you won't be let down.”

“I like this place. There is usually a wait on the weekends but it's never too long. 20 minutes is the longest I have waited for a table. The coffee is usually good and served in a good sized mug. The meals are plentiful and have different options than other similar restaurants. The pies are really good. Every once in a while I will get a server who is either too busy or distracted to get better service but all in all I enjoy coming to Polly's. My kids love it too.”

“Went in the other day. The service was great. They were skimpy on my to go order. I bought 2 of the same the linguine and meatballs. I ended up put the two in one of the container with a lot of room to spare. NOT GOOD. Also the side of bread was a 4 " piece of bread that at least should have Bern 2 pieces per order..... cheap!”
