We met when we were both having “one of those days”, but despite the chaotic situation, the food quality was never lacking and I am regretful that I chose to overlook the impact of our current pandemic in terms of complaining about my wait time. But the sauce was also great and it had the cold, tangy slaw to complement that spice and richness. “We found this place on a whim while visiting Newport Beach. There were so many other locations to chose from, but this place looked so good we just had to stop by! Their menu has a good selection of food and drinks! We ordered the house fried rice and garlic noodles with fillet mignon. Not pictured here is there Vietnamese coffee. The food was delicious!!! It took awhile to come out, but when it did we were very impressed. The fillet mignon was suuuuper tender, juicy, and flavorful! The garlic noodles could use more garlic, but it was still good. The fried rice was a little salty to me, but my bf thought it was fine. I'd definitely order both again! The portion was pretty big. We both couldn't finish our food and had to take it home. The Vietnamese coffee wasn't that great. It tasted more syrup than coffee. I was disappointed because I was expecting the typical strong Viet coffee with condensed milk. The location is very convenient. The beach is right across from it! It's a smaller restaurant but when we went there were tables available and the line was not too long. There is a bathroom but you need a code which could be found on the top of your receipt! Overall, the food was delicious, good serving, and cheap! I'd other both again, but definitely not the drink!!!”
