They seem to always mess up on something food wise and they are never consistent. It feels as if every time my food is made by a new trainee on their first day. It ruins the experience of enjoying the rubios food I've come to love.”

The bread they serve as an appetizer is the best I've ever had. We went towards closing so we had exceptional service. I have heard that this place can have quite a wait during rush hour, although that may die off with time. This is definitely the best Italian in the greater Roseville area I've had. “I have been a fan of Char-Pit for about 40 years. My best friend Mike introduced me to this place when we were 12 years old. My go-to is the Char Burger, but my now teen-aged sons ordered different items this time. My older son ordered the French Burger (burger patty smothered in melted blue cheese), said it was delicious, the proportions were perfect. My younger son ordered the ribs and says they are great! They must be pretty good, because we overheard a call-in order for three full racks of ribs. Some folks may think it is kinda plane-jane, but I have loved this place most of my life. Their soft serve ice cream is always good and they have a lot of flavor options for their milkshakes and/or malts.”
