“This place has good food! The brewery was kind enough to host our party of 9 for dinner, no reservations needed. I ordered the pot sticker appetizer on happy hour and they came out crispy, delicious, and covered in sweet Thai chili sauce. Well done! For my main course, I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which is one of my favorite chicken sandwiches I've had. It definitely competes with those "other" restaurants and chains claiming their chicken sandwich is the best. I'd say this one at Quintopia is best. The breading is crispy crispy, which is key. And it's served on a great bun. The sandwich is topped with pickles (but not too many), pepperoncini peppers, slaw, and other fresh ingredients. I'd definitely come back to eat again. The staff are very nice and helpful. They handled our large group easily. I needed an itemized receipt and the staff took care of me with no problem. Prices are fair, the sandwich being roughly 18$. Happy hour deals run 6-10$. Definitely consider stopping by if you're in the area, it's worth a stop in.”

And the cashier even caught a pricing error on something I purchased that was going to charge me way too much. “We had our daughter's birthday party at Sierra Bella Lanes. in a short time the new owners have made big improvements to the place and created a very fun atmosphere! The various activities including arcade games kept all the kids fully entertained. we came in pretty deep and they gave us fully use of the party room. The staff was friendly and helpful while also giving us space to celebrate. My sweet girl was over the moon and said it was her best birthday yet! Thank you for a great party”

“Unbelievable! In Quincy! I travel in Italy a lot and am a foodie and a wine snob. The wine list here is amazing. They have Italian wines that you won’t find in normal American Italian restaurants anywhere. Really good ones. We are a band and we’re in Quincy to play at a festival. Two of the guys had steaks one well done, and another rare and both were perfect. My lamb shank was amazing with the meat falling off the bone and very flavorful. The owners of the place are there, and very friendly and welcoming. This is the place to go when you are in Quincy at dinner time”

“Chester is a hard town for new restaurants to survive, but I think Lola's is doing everything right. Not only are they located in a decades old, established restaurant building, but brought everything up a notch. The food is fantastic, eggs Benedict done perfectly, everything else had great flavor, just the right amount of salt and spices. Went in with a friend on 4th of july weekend, got seated quickly, service was great, never left waiting and never annoyed. Support this new local restaurant! The people are great, the food is great, and most importantly... THEY KEPT THE TRAIN!!!!”

“We really enjoyed staying at the Bidwell House. We only stayed one night, and certainly would stay there again. It was less than an hour from Lassen National Park. The check in was smooth and welcoming. We were given good advice on where to eat locally. Wine was available in the evening at a reasonable price, and we enjoyed the amenities of the room. Breakfast was fantastic---the hostess prepared frittatas, and an attentive server took great care of us. It was a wonderful stay.”

I popped in mainly asking for directions to a day use area when we got done camping, and they genuinely rallied at the counter to help me find a good beach for us to finish our trip, even writing down directions for us; It may have been a distracation because, while they were talking about spots, their bannana bread crept up my nose, and I just had to buy 2 slices before I left.... MMMMMMMM! Everyone in the truck was happy I did, and most of us agreed it was some of the best bannana bread we've ever had - Not Kidding! Please, if you are in the area, stop by this spot, and try! However as with any monopoly this "only" pizza place in Chester doesn't excel in flavor. I ordered cheese and the pesto garlic pizzas along with 2 different flavors of chicken wings and nothing stands out. The pizza is too fluffy both in the dough and the cheese. Pesto is not enough to balance out the garlic in the pizza. The chicken wings are not flavorful enough to be better than fast food chicken wings although they are certainly edible. I wish there is more competition but then in a small town it's just not practical.”

“A magical little spot in Chester, CA. My wife and I enjoyed a black coffee with our breakfast (Rusty Roof Coffee). I'm told that it was local roster. I was tempted to take advantage of the free refills! We really loved the attached bookstore and the gorgeous atmosphere. I enjoyed one of their corned beef dishes, made with their own home made corned beef, while my wife enjoyed a wonderful goat cheese and spinach scramble. Tucked away in the indoor window seating made for a wonderful little stop in the mountains. If you get the chance, we encourage a visit!”

“Party of 12. We called roughly hour before arriving, staff were welcoming of our large group, and gave us a heads up that there was only one cook. We never would have noticed though. Wait was not long at all, food was all hot and delicious. Waitress was on top of it, and we never waited long on any request. The ranch house and their staff did amazing. Friendly smiles, hot food, great service. We sat in the yard out back, it was very cute, loved the natural landscaping with the lavender. Just a great atmosphere. Wish I would have grabbed a photo of the outdoor patio. Great ending to our day of hiking and playing at Lassen Park. Will definitely be back, thank you all!!”
