“Great relatively new wine bar in Del Paso offering a wonderful selection of wine made by black-owned vintners. Take time to talk to Cynthia the owner. Definitely worth checking out.”

“Came in a Sunday at lunch with I people. Was pretty much packed but they moved some tables around to accommodate our larger group. All the dishes were solid. Salt and pepper pork, green beans, fillet eggplant, roast duck, and a few others I don't remember. Parking lot is small-ish and has tight spaces. Workers don't really check in on you but that's normal for a Chinese restaurant.. oh, walnut shrimp was good too. Skip on the Malaysian chow fun next time though.”

“Excellent wine bar! They have an extensive wine and beer menu, and small bites. The staff are very friendly as well! This is a great place to meet friends after work or watch a game.”

“Great place for having a drink. Thank you for showing great spirit and staying with us as long as we need. Jam session on old piano was amazing.”

“This is the perfect place, if you're looking for a secluded, hole in the wall bar. The lighting is dark and there are plenty of booths to get cozy in. For $10, you can buy a strong mixed drink. If you're looking for privacy, I would recommend upstairs to the far left corner booth. The Back Door Lounge is missing something to set it apart from the other dive bars in Old Sacramento.”

“We stopped by to see a band this last week. We were really impressed with the space. There was a lot of room for viewing the stage. There weren't really any bad spots to stand. We sidled up to the stage and had a great time. The bar is located in a good spot and it was easy to get in for beers and other drinks. The sound in the room was consistent no matter where we stood and it wasn't too loud. We like the space because you could get personal with the band playing on the stage due to the stage set up. Great place to see a show.”

“Definitely a spot worth stopping over, the food is great and well prepared, the costs are affordable and it is always neat in here. Keep it up.”

“We stopped for an impromptu drink. It was a fun experience. Dim lighting and good music playing. Our bartender, Ryan, did a fine job creating a whiskey cocktail concoction for us. It was just sweet enough, a hint of bitterness & good use of citrus. We'll be back.”

“Food quality has seemed to change over the past year or two, especially the baklava. But I Love the LEMON SOUP, SPINACH PIE, CHICKEN SALAD.”

“My wife and I were visiting from Oregon. We heard great things so we paid a visit. Kent (manager/chef) was phenomenal when it came to fixing a minor issue. The ambiance, tastes and drink are top level. I highly recommend to any and all.”

“I went in for lunch yesterday and they have some of the best fries I've ever tasted. I'm not a huge burger person, but their burgers are so good! Excellent all the way around, I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10!”

“Very laid back spot in midtown Sacramento. Think adult house party vibes because this is exactly what it is. No frills or upscale dress codes. Only a $5 cover. There's a large patio with lots of seating out back. There's also bench seating out front. There's two bars. One inside the house & one outside. There aren't enough bartenders so the wait to grab a drink or drinks, may take a while. The DJ plays top 40 & old school hip hop which I thoroughly enjoyed dancing to with my friends.”

“This is literally my favorite restaurant in all of SF!!!! Every time I come here, weather it's me by myself or if I bring my friends and family they always take care of us. The food is excellent! I have a severe peanut and seafood allergy and since they know this, they take the highest caution and make sure that nothing is added to my food that can harm me and they also make sure to not cross contaminate! Every time I come here the experience is great and they treat you like family. Thank you Raul!”

“Nice happy hour menu. Appetizers are pretty small but tasty. Great beer and wine selections.”

“Good food, great music in the bar & I'm told the drinks were strong. I ordered a virgin fruit mix which was good. Great wait staff & bartenders. Love the concept, only complaint was the kareoke music... it was like Indian or Asian instrumental. Not so good for Beyonce or Lil Wayne. Also the words were off. Def worth a try, we had lots of laughs at us, the music & the words!”

“Tastie appetizers and cocktails, and the space is nicely decorated. I would had liked some healthier options on the menu. On the plus side, the serve was excellent.”

“went in around 10pm and only the bar was open. the staff was still really nice and made a pretty strong bacon old fashioned; it's exactly as it sounds. most likely won't ever order it again, but it was a good experience got the fried calamari and shrimp to split and the calamari was good! not overcooked out chewy”

“Nice whole in the wall place. Did not know it was there until I attended one night. They played good music and the environment look fun. Next time I come I have to try out there Karaoke.”

“I'll give it 5 stars for the owner and the fact that ceviche is a given starter. The food is also good, but the price is always ridiculous for seafood. I guess all seafood, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's not like taking the best bite of your life. The owner was awesome! Service, good as well. I will definitely go again, just not so often for the price.”

“Interesting place. I went on a Sunday night. I was stone-cold sober the entire time. Prime people watching. Karaoke was fun. I would say it’s a step above a dive bar because it’s clean and not at all sketchy. I dig the separate areas for karaoke, bar seating, and then line dancing. The karaoke DJ...where do I begin? He’s a character. He was part of the people-watching attractions. Not going to lie though, I have never heard a single song that he sang to and I consider myself to be pretty well-rounded when it comes to music. I do look forward to visiting again though.”

“Foods pretty good. The karaoke is why I went though, we started before peak time but they still charged us 25$ for each hour we were there even though the first one should have been cheaper. They don't let you know when your time is up so that you go over your time and have to pay more. They won't allow you free water in the room, when I asked for water they made me pay for bottles, and the only thing I ordered they got wrong. I wanted a tea and they brought me a smoothie. It was still fun, but overall disappointingly expensive.”
