“Neat place, lots of screens for games, if live entertainment is your thing this would be good, staff was friendly. Ordered the ribeye steak, would never order again, tastes boiled, flat iron grilled, only 1 side for the price, picked fries, they were hot but way under cooked. Ordering system is weird, don't come here if you're over the age of 50, waiters and waitresses don't tend to tables, more like food runners, refills on drinks are self serve, which I didn't mind at all cause that means I didn't have to wait for the wait staff (that don't come around) for a refill. If there's a live show slated for the night, come early, as they will make you buy a ticket if you stay past 730.”

“Finally, sophisticated food in Big Bear! I've visited three times since their opening in late 2021 and have always had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is casual yet upscale, you can feel the passion the owners have for the restaurant, and each dish not only tastes incredible but is also a decent portion. The cocktails, wine and desserts are rave-worthy as well! When my husband and I celebrated his birthday here with friends, La Pergola of course made it special. The potato tornado and meat sauce that goes on the fries have sugar and maybe even cinnamon or something similar. it’s an odd experience considering when you read “secret blend of herbs and spices” you think savory… it’s not savory… it’s weirdly sweet. Didn’t think it deserved low stars but definitely need to say something because it’s preventing me from ever ordering those two dishes again.”

“My first time in Big Bear, kept walking by this place and decided to have lunch here. The service from Taylor was phenomenal. She has great energy and recommended the veggie sandwich. Aside from good beer, the sandwich was the best I’ve had in a long time. The veggies were not soggy, they were tender but crunchy, and the goat cheese tied everything together—along with the house cut fries. We met the owners and it’s clear they care about this business. The decor is Art Deco, with a touch of industrial, and yet it felt homey. We will definitely be back.”

“We went in on a Tuesday night. It was very slow. Our service was fantastic. The food was really good. We just had chicken nachos, buffalo wings, and my daughter had a kids cheeseburger. My daughter said it was one of the best burgers she has had. I ordered Miller light in a bottle. I did not see it on the menu or in the bar, but they produced a few of them for me! A little on the pricey side but it's a nice place. I would go back and recommend it.”

“Fun bar at BBMR. Great service by friendly staff! I really liked the old name better. It used to be called the Big Bear Beach Bar! (Or the BBBB) I would encourage management to go back to the old name. A lot of history there :). The bar is in a great location with views of the Half pipes, jib park and a lot of the competitions. Great place for Apres Ski.”

“6/29/2020: The tavern is lakeside to Big Bear Lake. Masks were required upon entry and movement within the premises and could be removed at the table. The tables were at least 6 ft apart. We had half of an excellent "Margherita" pizza, $15, served as squares and one tri-tip chili at $12. Unlike the pizza which was flavorful with crust that did not get in the way, the chili was uninspired. Sales tax is 7.75%. We sat in the patio with a view of the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful.”
