“They do a great job here. I’ve had the burgers, which are very good. But the gyros are excellent - much better than I expected from such a small shop. Their fries are very good as well. Very friendly service. Expect to spend $10 for a nice lunch - less if you opt for one of their specials. The outdoor patio at the food center here is awesome. We enjoy having lunch here at a shady table on a warm summer day. There are plenty of other options here too - Indian, Mexican, sushi, salads, etc.”

“Great experience for lunch here. It was a cold day so sat in the bar facing the ocean. Nice atmosphere and a little more cozy than the restaurant. Ordered the house salad with grilled salmon. A very large salad, generous and delicious potion of salmon, topped with cranberries and a delicious vinaigrette. I really enjoyed my lunch. Service was excellent and friendly. Prices are average for the current market with salad and coffee prices Nader $25.00. Excellent quality for the price. Go here. Outside seating available to on a a sunny day.”

“Great location with great scenery. The food was excellent, no complaints there. However, service was bad. It took 10 minutes to get water. Another 10 minutes for our drink order, and another 10 for the food order. The food actually came out quickly, but it took too long to get a drink refill. When we’re we’re finished with our meal it took over 20 minutes to get our check. We were there for about 1hr, 45minutes. I’m not in the restaurant business, but seems to me that is way too long for a turnover rate on a table for 2, with only 3 drinks. I would give this place a second chance based on the food alone, hopefully the bad service was an isolated incident.”

“I have been going to this place for years now, when it was called Sensai, before it was Mot'to. Its probably my favorite overall food in all of San Diego and very reasonably priced. I never get sick of it. I should selfishly give it 1 star and a terrible rating, just to keep other people from going there, as it gets very busy at lunch time... but I think there is a lack of good, inexpensive and healthy options out there, so Enjoy!”

“We are locals from San Diego and decided to do a golf package at the Aviara. Everything about Aviara was better than expected but the food at the restaurant, Vivace, was the biggest surprise. Apparently they have brought in the chef from the Inn at Little Washington. Anyway the dishes are complex, beautiful and delicious, something you would expect at a top tier pricier restaurant. Its definitely on my top 5 list. Can’t wait to go back!”
