“My new favorite restaurant in the Otay Ranch area of Chula Vista. The family and I stopped in with a friend recently and fell in love with the food. The menu is simple to navigate and the friendly staff is helpful in answering any questions you may have about the various options. The food was nicely prepared, fresh and full of great Mediterranean and Arabian flavors. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere and service. “Not only are the bowls and smoothies amazing here, but the staff and owner are as well! I am unable to eat gluten and did not even think about the granola in my bowl being an issue due to post workout brain. I was served my bowl right as I realized I had not specified that it needed to be gluten free. The employee in the back came out to check on me and as I shared that I cannot eat gluten she immediately offered to make me another bowl. I kindly declined because it was my own fault. However Mario the sweet owner came out and reassured me that it was okay and he would make me another. Custer service like that stands out and speaks volumes. “Seating was perfect, got there and told me it would be about 45 to an hour. And actually it only took 10 minutes. After that getting your drinks took 15 minutes by then we realized it was going to take more time to order food , so we order at the same time with the drinks. Food took 25 min. To 30min. To arrive. In the meantime your eating chips and more chips that by the time your food arrives your almost full. The taste for me was a little salty. But if you're into salty. Great. The service girl who takes your plates gets more drinks etc.. was really good. The waiter could be a little better , I understand they just open and is crowded but you have to plan ahead and hire more people working especially on weekends. Will try it one more time to see if there's any improvement.”

“The Fries were delicious, beer was good, the staff was not too friendly, but professional, the Canned beer was pretty expensive. $16.95 for a 4 pack... I wouldn't go out of my way, but the environment is nice. 2 huge screen TVs and plenty of drink choices. But the french fries are what makes me give them 4 stars, Otherwise I'd give 2 stars. They have excellent fries, cheese and meat, but no Carne asada fries? I'll go elsewhere for carne asada fries and beer.”

“Menchie’s in the Otay Ranch area Chula Vista is awesome. They have a ton of different flavors of yogurt, dozens of toppings to pick from and it’s close to a lot of favorite shopping spots in this area. The staff is always super helpful and funny. There’s a lot of nice places to sit outside and enjoy the weather with your Menchie’s yogurt! I definitely recommend stopping in and try this place out.”

“Wow what an amazing restaurant! The food is delicious with an amazing patio area! It's really hard to find a good sushi restaurant with a full bar, and this place has it covered. It used to be called Valentino's but the new owners really did a great job with the new menu. We had about 3 different rolls and they where all amazing! There's nothing better than going to mom and pop shop and supporting a family owned business. Not only is there food good but they have a huge selection of high end bourbon and tequila. So glad we came here, just a short drive from east county and you come to this hidden gem. The service was great and the music was at the right volume a perfect vibe for a night out. I think we found our new sushi spot.”

“New restaurant in the area. Same owners as Taco Lounge on East Palomar. The food is absolutely fresh and fantastic flavor! I ordered the Baja Lounge tostada, absolutely fresh and yummy! I also had a few tacos. The Culici Taco is very good. The Cali Taco is delicious. The Mahi taco is also very tasty! I had all that in one visit. Recommend this place 100%. Service was great and the restaurant is clean.”

“Best service in San Diego... My wife and I have been to most of the best restaurants in town, and La Sinaloense beats them all. It was a pleasure being there from the minute we entered. The decor is fun and they have live music. Very soon after they seated us they brought us some sea food broth that was spectacular, that was a nice way to start lunch. We looked through the menu and noticed most of the food is sea food, which is a small problem for us, because my wife is vegetarian, but they had items that she could eat, plus they said they would cook anything she wants (amazing people). My wife ordered the vegetable omelet, and I ordered the beef fajitas. Her omelet couldn't have been better, moist and full of flavor. My Fajitas were perfect, nothing pretentious, just good home cooking. I was so happy with the food I said we needed some dessert. We decided on the Churro and icecream, it was beautiful when it came to our table, it looked like a flower, and it was a nice way to finish our meal. Everyone was very nice when we left the restaurant, we are looking forward to our next time there.”
