“We ate lunch here today (takeout) and it was great! I had a salt bagel with cream cheese, the Irish oatmeal, and the amazing Golden Turmeric Oat Latte. One of the top 5 coffees I’ve ever had. Probably. We also had the grilled chicken sandwich, chefs salad, iced caramel macchiato, ice honey cinnamon latte, double chocolate scone, 2 almond croissants, and a honey cinnamon latte with almond milk. We didn’t love the sandwich or the chefs salad. They didn’t travel well. We had a 20 minute walk back to the hotel. The croissants were absurdly good. Also, the bagel. Let’s talk about bagels. If you’ve not had a properly made, fresh, New York style bagel, stop what you’re doing and make plans to visit Clayton’s. It’s an entirely different experience from your “normal” bagel. We will be coming back!”

“Because it was busy we sat outside which due to the weather was a little too cold. That is the only negative thing I have to say and it has nothing to do really with the restaurant. I had the hanger steak salad and it was amazing. The espresso chocolate torte was perfect too. I highly recommend this place. It was also nice that it seemed like all locals there.”

“Fantastic. Quick guys here and some tasty bagels. Pretty inexpensive too. Makes a great morning if you can snag one of the tables outside and enjoy the sun too. Whatever kind of jelly they use, probably normal strawberry, is amazing. It simply tastes better here.”

“This is a good location. Very busy and Coronado has very high expectations. It is always full so they are meeting expectations. I like the soup and salad combo in the colder months. I tried spicy thai salad and bowl of fall squash soup. Very nice.”
