“Don't let all the pics of sweets fool you. Go for the mole veracruzano. It is a fabulous mixture of fruits, nuts, chilis and mexican chocolate. Fabulous for sauces! We just finished the last of the mole from our last visit and just reordered the veracruzano and rojo! Good job on this stuff guys! Urban Cowgill June 2020”

“Great place for breakfast. Right above Farm to Table Restaurant in little Italy, this place has great vibes and fantastic food. We walked to this restaurant from our hotel in seaport village area. We also missed this place as it’s on top of another restaurant. As we climbed up to second floor, the receptionist enthusiastically led us to a comfortable booth with colorful decoration and separators between tables. As I had read a lot on the reviews, I came prepared to order. I was going to try their soufflé pancake but the waitress told me that the pancake may take a long time to prepare. So I ordered the egg Benedict as a second choice. It turned out very good. Although the ham is bit dry but the over all dish was good. My wife got what she came here for, French toast with fruits. Her dish tasted amazing. She just loves it. The waitress also told us that another popular dish is their breakfast fried rice. I will try that dish for our next visit. Due to the pandemic, there were not too many people here for breakfast in the morning. We didn’t have to wait for our seating. But the waitress told us that lunch and dinner times have a long wait. So come early for those dining time.”

“What can I say...These guys went beyond the call of duty today. First they are extremely polite...where else can you walk in and everyone greets with a hello and a smile. Pre-ordered my drinks and was there for the pickup...grab my drinks and left and as soon as I get by the car the holder breaks and 3 of the 5 fall and explode. I pick up the mess and go to order again and they made them for me at no cost. Made me smile.”

“Super quick, convenient location. They didn't have seating outdoors yet, but who would want to sit by the highway on ramp anyway? They did have a decent amount of Starbucks specific parking, and a drive-through! I made an app order maybe 2 blocks away and it was ready for me before I got there. There is no indoor/inside seating area either, just a small shop with walk-up window to order, and a separate window to pick-up. It did take a few min of standing outside waiting before someone acknowledged I was there to get my drink.”

“Today's experience not really great. The girl was nice and I understand it wasn't on purpose but man... Paying about. 75cents just to have a bigger container is not a good thing. I should have said something when I grabbed the coffee and felt the weight but I didn't. However it is frustrating that when asking for a coffee away of my normal stores I have to recite the Bible in order to get what I want. A venti white chocolate mocha, 3 pumps only, yes whipped cream, no foam... Not even when one gets married one have to talk so much... Anyway... That on a side: the store is nice, the parking is big so I don't understand other negative reviews about the parking, there's more than a hundred all over. But please next time just fill the Venti up to the top. A coffee is my everyday meal.”

“This is my new favorite Starbucks. I always pop through on my favorite day COFFEE WEDNESDAYS! I always give a crazy cool shout out to the baristas for bustin’ their tail to make great drinks and provide perfect service to my wife and me. The one dude with the pink face mask deserves a raise. He’s got a good heart and is a kind guy. Thanks again, Starbucks!”

“I adopted the Starbucks at the Hazard Center in San Diego, as my home away from home during a three day visit there. This Starbucks was close to my hotel and I went there four times in three days. There is something to be said about any restaurant chain or retail chain that consistently maintains high standards across cities and states across the country. Starbucks freestanding stores always meets my expectations for a good cup of coffee and a snack or bite to eat, no matter what time of day or wherever I am. I don’t include airport or grocery store locations, though they’ve improved markedly. The Hazard Center Starbucks is no different. The employees were friendly, warm, quick and well trained. They had a queue that reached the door at one point, and they never lost their cool. The power went out on Saturday and they continued to serve irritated customers with a smile and employees started scrubbing sweeping and cleaning. No one was idle for a minute. I will make every effort to patronize the Hazard Center Starbucks location whenever I’m in San Diego, and you should too! Tell ‘em Roy sent you!”

“This Starbucks isn't bad. Their food and drinks are fairly consistent. The problem here is the staff. They chat amongst themselves as if there are no customers there and I have been left waiting for service more than once while they finish a conversation. I only went back a few times because it was convenient at the time but I will no longer return.”
