“I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the desserts especially for this price. I tried the strawberry macaron and the religieuse. The cream inside of both was kind of grainy. And the proportions not right.”

“Get the Skinny Santa Fe breakfast bagel! It's the best thing on the menu. Turkey sausage, 2 eggs, pepperjack cheese, and jalapeno cream cheese.”

“Great place to pick up morning coffee if you're in downtown. It's more like a outdoor kiosk with seating around, but not a coffee shop or cafe. Great fast and helpful service and the brew is a thumbs up! I got the Almond latte, but there are specialty coffees on the menu all named after popular areas or landmarks of San Diego. Great for catch up with friends especially on a nice outdoor day!”

“Great service, really aimed to please the customer! Definitely marked as a place to come back to. Espresso was excellent and they have a variety of single origin coffees from around the world served as pour over - there's something for everyone. Sandwiches are made with quality breads - a prerequisite for a good sammie. Pleasant interior, simple but comforting; young, sophisticated crowd. I would recommend this place without any reservations!”

“I absolutely love this place! Hawaiian Tiki Settings, outside tables in the shade, the staff is outstanding here and know how to pair a meal with your drink, if you ask. Parking in the back. I love this hole in the wall sandwich and coffee place. A must to experience the peaceful, tranquil/soft lighting of Christmas lights strung about the place ?❤️?”

“Fast and excellent service. If you can support the businesses you go to during these times by leaving comments or hitting yes when asked by Google Maps if you have attended a place please do so. Two super sweet employees there shared with us that they could shut down their store if enough money wasn’t coming in, which would result in them not working of course. Thank you for great customer service and delicious bagels.”

“Food was good, wasn't pleased with the way the cashier treated a homeless person. In his defense, he probably deals with it all day long. But homeless are just people less fortunate than us that deserve respect too. No reason to treat them as less than. They are just trying to survive as best they can.”

“Have eaten here a few times when I have to be at the park for an extended period. Pricing is similar to a food truck. The salads are good and light, not a fan of the candied walnuts. Don't expect a lot of food, it's like a large side salad not a meal. Service is slow, expect to wait about 15 minutes for your food to be ready. Atmosphere is pleasent, the location in the park is very nice. The people working there are not very friendly, but I am there mainly on the weekends. Dog friendly outdoor eating area. No indoor dining.”

“Clean and modern restaurant with video games and beer on tap. Indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the park. Wide variety of food on the menu. We had the burgers and chicken sandwiches and everyone enjoyed their food. My only complaint was that the chicken sandwich was comprised of two large chicken tenders as opposed to one piece of chicken. As a result, it kinda fell apart. Even though I don't like the idea of eating chicken tenders in my sandwich, it still tasted good.”

“This place is tucked away, hidden to normies but a great place to sit and eat delicious Paninis. There is a colorful outside sitting area in back. The food really is great. I had the Chipotle Turkey. Super messy, but worth it. The Pesto Turkey is also really good. They offered Gluten Free bread which is a bonus. Stop on by, they have great coffee too.”

“My wife and I were recommended to this coffee shop, and it was superb! Alex our waiter was great with his recommendations and made us feel right at home. We shared a Panini sandwich and finished off with a great homemade dessert. A must stop place for either breakfast or coffee. We will definitely come back to our next trip!”

“This place is beautiful. Our service was even better thanks to Nathalie. Our soup took a little it longer to be served but gave us a pastry which I got coffee cake and it was real good. We got the chicken wild rice bread bowl and chicken noodle bread bowl. These meals compliment the cold weather we are having in SD. This place is great to study and get work done. Many outlets for those who want to bring thier laptops and free parking. It is in the mall. Free refills of coffee and tea of course. The place is very clean and bright with its lighting and big windows. I definitely will be coming back. Thanks again Nathalie.”

“Great service at Milano Coffee. You must wear a mask to enter the store. A fun selection of coffee flavors including all the staples plus interesting ones like the Nutty Irishman. Specialty milks like oat, almond, and soy are offered. And check out their freshly made breakfast and lunch fare. Enjoy a hit cup to go with a great bite to eat.”

“Love this place and Vanessa is amazing. Great customer service and a very dedicated worker. She remembered us when we came back for a second time, making us feel so welcomed. Watched her one Sunday work alone and handle the crowd so professional. Being in the food service industry for over 30 years, it always nice to see someone who cares about customer service. Great asset to your business”

“The Angelika Film Center & Cafe is an awesome place to see a film. The reclining seats are very comfortable, plus you can select your seat either in advance or at the door...so you know where you are sitting. The concessions were great too. The Angelika offered something I'd never experienced before, unlimited soda and there was butter available to add to your popcorn....as much as you like. The Angelika also offers beer and wine if you so choose.”

“Amazing coffee! I had their cappuccino, it had its bitterness but at the same time it had smooth textured. I normally add 1 sugar, but here I was able to drink cappuccino without any sugar. Tried Turmeric latte too, it was good. Staff are friendly, prices on par with Starbucks but the taste was way better. Will have to go back to try their sandwiches!”
