Sixteen Mile House

Wow! Looking to have a legit steakhouse experience and Sixteen Mile did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were impressed. We were lucky enough to have Tyler as our server, along with Glen, the dream team. Warm bread, unique choices, well prepared, quality is evident. Tableside salad preparation, such a classy idea. My husband had the bone in rib eye it was so tender, cooked to perfection, I did the entree tableside salad adding steak, a beautiful NY strip. Dressings made in house. Creamed corn is a must try so delicious. We did apple pie and creme brulee both made in house and worth the calories!

Great local bar in the town of Millbrae. Great food, friendly staff, knowledgeable bartenders that will make some conversation. When I lived in Millbrae, it was my favorite local pub.

Attended event in the large private dining room, which is (helpfully) outfitted with a screen, projector and basic audio system. Food is consistently good, whether they are serving a table of two, or a room of 32. It's clear that quality and good service are considered a priority. Leave a little extra time to find parking, or use the big Safeway lot one block west. Update: November 2018. New ownership, prices increased, not quite as friendly.

Nice place with good stakes. Had the 22oz ribeye and it was flavorful but a little bit chewy in the fatty area. Mas potatoes and veggies are average. Love the sour dough bread. Overall, good dinner.

Update: went back again for the Porter house. Great steak and very flavourful. I ordered it medium, but found that it was more rare near the bone.

First time here on a recommendation & it was well worth it. Great food. Portions are excellent, I definitely left full. The staff is excellent! I didn't have to ask for anything, they were on top of it. Definitely will be going back.
