Great food! Service eh. Messed up my order and didn't really try to correct it. Made a silly reason why. And they tried to charge me for something I didn't have
Used to be better, previous owners sold and opened up a shop in downtown Pleasanton. Newer cooks lost some of the magic. BUT the XLB is still top shelf.
A place for quick dim sum. Portions and sizes are larger than I would have liked. My preference is more on quality and taste. This restaurant is more on quantity. If you are hungry, this is the place. But if you enjoy quality food, you maybe disappointed. But nevertheless, it is still a good place to visit.
Xiao long bao and fried buns with condensed milk and sweet soy drink ♥ so comforting on rainy days. They give lots of vinegar with the dumplings too!
Not a fan of the red oil chili wanton. It was too doughy and more like red peanut butter dumpling.
狮子头 (meatball) is a huge hunk of meat and not as juicy as we expected.
Very tasty and fresh. You can see the guy in the kitchen making the dumplings per order. The noodle soup was huge light and yummy!
