Great Japanese comfort food. The portions are big, one rice plate can feed two people.
This place is a gem. If it's busy, you gotta be a little patient.
I just had a huge and delicious unagi don for $15.95 (pre-tax). The very friendly old Japanese lady, who I think is the owner, said it's not on the menu but they can still make it. I saw the photo of this entrée before I walked up the stairs though. This place is located on the 2nd floor and may be easily missed to tourists. I definitely would recommend it.
A Japanese owned restaurant. Portions are huge! The seafood nabe udon had salmon, octopus, squid, clam, imitation crab and tons of cabbage. Udon was soft and bouncy. The teriyaki chicken is fragrant and well done. And service is friendly. I wouldn't mind coming back even though most of these dishes aren't my style.
The food is good but I waited for an hour for one of my appetizers to arrive even though we are the only customers. The waiter is forgetful too. So if you have time to spare, you can come here and try their champon and spicy ramen.
