    Wow only place that's always got foot traffic food is delicious and the old lady is so sweet smells DELICIOUS tastes even better

    You really can't go wrong with Kaz, phenomenal value and convenience. Truly a staple in San Mateo.

    Always friendly staff, even when busy they handle business very well. Helps to be patient but pays off for a quick and delicious to go meal! Also very decent prices too.

    They do a LOT from a tiny corner space. We found them quite by chance on the recommendation of a pedestrian on the street as we searched for lunch in a strange town.
    Clearly family owned and operated, they were very busy the afternoon we were there, but got our bentos out to us after about a 10 minute wait--quite reasonable considering how slammed they were.
    Delicious food, generous portions (I got two satisfying meals out of mine!).
    Recommended.
