Three Restaurant & Bar

Three Restaurant was a new try for a group visiting the area on business. The restaurant is nicely appointed, open and fresh. The staff are very attentive and engaging. There were three of us in our party and we started with the Three Inferno, a pan fried gruyére, served flambé at your table. It was really tasty and not your average appetizer. I was in the mood for a great burger and had one. The 3 Grind Burger is a blend of brisket, short rib & sirloin. and comes topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, house made pickles & secret sauce. I chose the salad as a side and it was fresh and very good. One other in our party had the fried chicken stack. It's a crispy, savory buttermilk, brined, boneless chicken stacked on top of mash, gravy. It looked and heard it was amazing. We'll definitely come back again.

Delicious food. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. It was tender and very tasty. Mixed with the goat cheese mashers made them even better. Chic decor. Fast attentive service.

was passing by San Mateo at lunch time and being hungry went to Three Restaurant near me. I was asked if I have a reservation, said no, so they asked me to wait. Sitting there I remembered the Open Table app on my phone, so I used it and sure enough there was an opening within 10 min. I made the rez, and approached the host " I do have a rez now".  Believe it or not, he said that it is not OK, because I just made it. I would say it is great that I just made it, this is the 21st century people! Get on it!  After a short debate about it, we got a table and had an wonderful lunch! Exciting huh!

Amazing staff that are super friendly and welcoming. We got a reservation for our engagement and didn't make a big deal but they asked what we we're celebrating and went out of their way to make us feel special. Great place for celebrations. The food was absolutely amazing too. My new favorite place in SF!
