“Regularly ride by the truck and always see at least one customer. Decided to stop by. Ordered the Chile Relleno plate over rice, frijoles and macaroni salad. Added a hot chocolate drink. If your Spanish isn't up to par, the clerk also speaks English. The meal was excellent, the beans didn't taste like they contained lard, the rice was fluffy and flavored with a stock, the macaroni salad cooked just right and the stuffed ground meat chile relleno was greaseless and tasted homemade. Well return to try the rellenitos, and hilochas. GREAT job guys”

“Very fresh and tasty Japanese food, reasonable prices, travels well so excellent choice for delivery. We get the rice bowls from here all the time via UberEATS and they are always outstanding. There are so many choices and a variety of fresh veggies stuffed into each bowl. Rice bowls have a base of partially killed brown rice and mixed greens. On top is washable salad, red cabbage, carrot, edamame, takuan, onion, and THREE choices from a huge list of seasoned meats, seafood, and veggie dishes. I really like the miso nasu eggplant, spicy beef, and spicy shrimp, my partner likes the shrimp tempura, teriyaki chicken and teriyaki tofu. We both love the creamy sesame dressing which is like kewpie roasted sesame dressing (there are other options) We also like the takuan (pickled radish) so much that we order a full side order. It is SO satisfyingly crunchy and the sound of the crunch penetrates your brain in the best way.”

“Super friendly staff, quick turn around and when you order through the app, your coffee is ready on the counter with a handy receipt so you don’t pick up the wrong one by accident. They have a wide variety of Starbucks products you can buy for home use, with different themes by week. There is no outside seating, which makes this Starbucks limited IMHO. San Mateo has so many nice days to enjoy a coffee outside. Also limited parking available, and no drive through.”

“To be exact, the rating is 2½ stars. Tried this place for the first time. Inside looked clean. The only staff was not friendly, but courteous. I was taken aback that he wasn't wearing a mask, since all the food items were uncovered. Therefore, if you are very concerned about COVID safety, this might not be a good place to buy poke from. The food choices were okay. Fish selection was disappointingly limited. There were only two kinds of fish, salmon and tuna. The tuna was mixed with various sauces, and each flavor (e.g. spicy tuna) counted as one selection. So other seafood items listed on the menu, such as shrimp, was unavailable. But I was glad that there was crab, at least. All the food items, including seafood and salad, were fresh. Sauces used were pretty good too. A big thumbs down to the white rice--it was just too mushy. Prices were on par with inflation. A medium bowl was about $15, and a big bowl was about $20. Some food items came with extra charge (such as seaweed and avocado). I probably won't visit again. Comparing to other poke places, this one doesn't stand out. I picked it this time because my friend and I were very hungry and this was the closest eatery.”

“Really great place with the nicest staff! I wasn't familiar with Guilin cuisine at all prior and the owner has been so nice explaining everything. I go with the dry noodle mix with marinated beef & crispy pork. SO good. If you like it spicy, be sure to ask for their homemade spice mix rather than a typical hot oil - amazing flavor and spice level. Be sure to get the plum drink as well! One of my favorite drinks at a restaurant I've ever had! Been here 4 times in the last month :) cannot recommend it enough”
